Main square of Stockholm old town. It’s relatively small compared to other capitals like Prague, or Rome. But it’s a good place to relax for a while. Few restaurants in the square.

För mycket skämt under bältet och det var segt. Vi har varit många gånger på Vallbyrevyerna och alla dom har varit mycket bättre.

Alltid trevligt o lugnt att besöka vallby

Mysigt ställe att strosa omkring på och man får en bra inblick om hur det var förr runt 1900talet. Kul för barnen också.
Riktigt bra restaurang med god mat för alla.

Absolut beeindruckende Ausstellung und eines noch beeindruckenderes Schiff. Ein perfekt gestaltetes Ausstellungskonzept, vom Bauwerk bis ins Detail. Interaktiv und vielseitig, man sollte sich Zeit nehmen. Ein früher Besuch lohnt sich.

Wir haben das Museum an einem Samstag besucht. Es war schon sehr viel los. Daher ist es empfehlenswert, die Tickets bereits im Vorfeld online zu kaufen. So konnten wir auch die langen Schlangen am Eingang umgehen.

Das Museum ist super. Das Schiff ist sehr gut erhalten. Die einzelnen Abschnitte sind sehr gut gemacht und sehr informationsreich. Mithilfe des Audio Guides konnten wir eigenständig das Museum besichtigen.

Jag gillar Vallby friluftsmuseum, det är skönt att strosa runt i egen takt. Såg inte så många djur, bl a några getter, kaniner men det räckte. God fika som kan intas utomhus. Rena toaletter.

Ein tolles maritimes Museum. Hier kann man unter anderem das Schiff Vasa besichtigen, welches auf seiner Jungfernfahrt im Jahr 1628 vor Stockholm sank. Auch gibt es verschiedene Ausstellungen zur kurzen Geschichte der Vasa. Wirklich interessant und einen Besuch wert.

Absolutes Muss bei Stockholm Besuch!
Man erhält einen Einblick in das frühere Leben in Schweden. Besonders gut hat mir die lebende Geschichte in Form von Mitarbeitern in Kostümen in den alten Gebäuden gefallen. Diese konnten zu "ihrem" Beruf und Haus sehr interessantes erzählen.

Die nordische Tierwelt ist auch zu bestaunen.

Sehr beeindruckend, da man ein zu 98% aus Orginalteilen erhaltenes Schiff aus dem 17. Jahrhundert sieht. Empfehlenswert. Wir hatten keine Tickets vorher gekauft. Wartezeit ca. 10 min, obwohl ca. 50 Menschen vor uns waren. Es ging sehr schnell. Kinder sind kostenlos, Erwachsene 220 SEK.

nice place to spend time with a family. the slott is so beautiful and you can wallk around in the garden and kids enjoy plaing in the garden. There is smalll cafe and you can take your bike to go around the places.

Wow, einfach eine andere Welt dieses Freilichtmuseum, dort kann man den ganzen Tag verbringen.

Alles was das Herz begehrt und das zu einem erschwinglichen Preis.

Ich empfehle jeden, der nach Stockholm reist einen Besuch

Man legt dort viele Schritte zurück, meist auf Kieselsteinen, daher gutes Schuhwerk benutzen. Vor dem Regen ist man nie sicher, leider gibt es kaum Unterstellmöglichkeiten, daher unbedingt Wetterfeste Kleidung einpacken.

Es ist eine aussergewöhnliche Geschichte rund um dieses sehr schöne Schiff. Das Museum ist interessant aufgebaut. Am besten beginnt der Rundgang im unteren Geschoss. Da erfährt man wie man wissenschaftlich vorgegangen ist, was für Leute auf dem Schiff waren, wie sie aussahen. Oben erfährt man mehr über das Unglück und wie das Schiff ausgesehen hat. Für den Besuch rechnet man zwischen 2-2.5 h. Dann hat man alles in Ruhe anschauen können.

Der Besuch dieses Schiff und seine Ausstellung ist absolut beeindruckend. Man kann das Schiff aus jedem Blickwinkel betrachten. Auch die Ausstellung sind sehr interessant. Man kann sehen, wie das Schiff geborgen wurde. Wie es im Inneren aussieht. Was sich zum Zeitpunkt des Untergang alles auf dem Schiff befunden hat. Man kann geborgene Kleidung, Schmuck oder auch Knochen anschauen. Das Museum ist sehr interessant aufgebaut auf verschiedenen Etagen. Es gibt auch eine kostenlose Trinkwasserstelle. Wir hatten keine Wartezeiten beim Einlass.

Good place to have a walk. You can cycle till entrance, and after that, you are not allowed to cycle inside(signs are displayed on entrance)
Castle has a small cafe and gift shop as well as a museum near.
There are toilets near the castle on the right side of the castle while facing towards the castle.
Maps are accurate, and it is quite a place bit away from the city crowd.
Will recommend walking and for having fika there.

Ein Besuch lohnt hier wirklich.
Wenn man alles sehen will und auch mal Pause machen will, sollte man um 10 Uhr da sein und den ganzen Tag einplanen, da das Gelände riesig und unübersichtlich ist. Es gibt unendlich viel zu sehen und an Fotomotiven mangelt es nicht.
Am ehesten entbehrlich ist der Zoo-Bereich, am tollsten ist das Dorf.
Das große Aquarium ist im Preis nicht drin, die Kosten für die Bergbahn kann man sich schenken, man muss nicht weit hochlaufen.

Busy, not a lot too see. I’d suggest going early to avoid the crowds. There were plenty of nearby small laneays with good views.

Witzige Sache, ein angefangenen Schloss. Auf dem Satellitenbild kann man den Grundriss sehen. Vor Ort ist es schon ein wenig Abenteuer, zwischen den Grundmauern rumzuschleichen. Es führen nur kleine Wege hin - einfach durch das Gebüsch schlagen.

Sehr spannender Ort, besonders die Schauspieler in den Themenhäusern wie der Apotheker konnten einem viele spannende Dinge erzählen. Was ich schade finde ist, dass es Bereiche wie in Zoos gibt, in denen nichtheimische Wildtiere nicht artgerecht gehalten werden. Das ist nicht unterstützenswert und auch garnicht notwendig für einen sonst so schönen Ort.

Ein wunderschöner Ort mit tollem Ausblick auf Stockholm an dem man den ganzen Tag verbringen kann. Ich war zu Midsommar hier und die Atmosphäre, die Stimmung der Menschen war fantastisch. Außerdem ist es sehenswert, wie die Menschen in Schweden früher gelebt haben.
Also absolut sehenswert, besonders im Sommer...

Hade inga förväntningar alls men blev verkligen överraskad av hur stort och fint det var. Som att kliva in i Astrid Lindgren böcker. Perfekt för barn eller historie intresserade!

Stockholm Main Square is smaller than you might imagine, but is is also unique. There is quite an unusual water fountain in the middle. Not much seating, but many interesting vendors which surround the square. It is also the focal point for the tourism in the city so there are great shops, restaurants and curiosities to be seen here!

Wirklich ein Muss wenn man in Stockholm ist!
Ein tolles Museum mit einem außergewöhnlichen Schiff für die heutige Zeit.
Neben dem Schiff als solches gibt es noch jede Menge anderer Dinge im Museum zu entdecken die zur damaligen Zeit bzw. Zum Schiff passen.
Der Eintrittspreis liegt bei knapp 20€.
Wir würden beim nächsten Mal evtl. noch was zum Überziehen mitnehmen, da es im Museum doch etwas kalt war.

Sehr zentral gelegen und mit Bus und Tram leicht erreichbar. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, vor allem manche Tiergehege, aber eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Mischung aus historischen Gebäuden aus ganz Schweden, und einigen schönen Tieren. Das Bärengehege ist sehr großzügig angelegt, und die Bären sahen für einen Zoo vergleichsweise recht zufrieden und lebhaft aus. Besonders zu erwähnen sind die Handwerkshäuser der Glasbläser und die Töpferei, sowie stets präsenten in historischen Kleidern gekleideten Damen, die gerne Auskunft zu den Häusern und Lebensweisen geben. Auch kulinarisch gibt es für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden. Das Recht neue Aquarium mit angeschlossenem Affen- und Lemurengehege haben wir nicht besucht, da es ja extra kostet, daher auch keine Wertung hierfür möglich.

Es ist schon sehr interessant zu sehen, wie die Leute seinerzeit gelebt haben. Man wundert sich auch über so viel Baukunst. Dass es trotzdem nach ein paar Metern Stapellauf unterging...so haben wir nun wenigstens Einblicke in diese Zeit. Mir hat es gefallen.

1. Schantzska Huset (No. 20): Besides its historical significance, this building’s deep red color and Renaissance gables make it a focal point. The 82 white stones in its facade are a solemn commemoration of the bloodbath.

Schöner Ort. Viele Häuser und der Zoo ist auch nett. Leider waren bei unserem Besuch viele Gehege nicht bewohnt. Auch für die Aussicht ist der Besuch auf jeden Fall wert.

Underbart med en plats där det går lätt att resa tillbaka i tiden och uppleva samhället för länge sedan med ett levande kulturarv och autenticitet!

We walked through on a Friday afternoon in March. The area was bustling and there's lots to see nearby. We stopped in the plaza to take in the architecture and people watch for a moment. It's worth adding this to your stops when in the old town area.

One of the best views in the city!

Ein richtig schönes Freilichtmuseum!
Man kann sehr authentisch erleben, wie die Menschen früher gelebt haben. In vielen Gebäuden kann man den Mitarbeitern sogar beim Arbeiten zusehen. Darüber hinaus kann man sehr viele Tiere sehen. Es war ein richtig schöner Besuch und man kann hier den ganzen Tag gemütlich verbringen.
Insbesondere für Familien ist der Besuch empfehlenswert.

Gamla Stan is the historic center of Stockholm. The streets are lined with colorful buildings and in each of them there are cafes, souvenir shops, design studios, antique shops, small shops with various goods. Right in the center is the Nobel Prize museum and a short distance from it is the Royal Palace and breathtaking views of the surrounding sea, especially frozen in winter.

An interesting place to visit during the gloomy Scandinavian winter.

Schöner Ort

En underbar, lugn plats där barnen tryggt kan utforska lite på egen hand och man ändå får en god överblick. Fantastisk personal som har olika roller och berättar om livet på 1800- och 1900-talet. Och olika djur att titta på. Till och med katten är trevlig och glad, vet inte hur de lyckats få den så serviceminded! På Gaggeska gården (som ligger inne på Vallby) finns ett jättemysigt fik/lunchställe.

Dedicata ad un sovrano che ha inciso nella storia di questo paese, è stata eretta a valle della piazza in pendenza, una posizione che a mio avviso non la valorizza e non aggiunge nulla di esteticamente interessante, al contesto.

Statua di re Gustavo III, raffigurato nelle sembianze dell'Apollo del Belvedere come simbolo di cultura e arte, eseguita dallo scultore svedese Johan Tobias Sergel che in gioventù trascorse un lungo periodo in Italia, in particolare a Roma e Firenze, dedicandosi principalmente allo studio della scultura di figure mitologiche.
Posizionata su di un piedistallo nei pressi del palazzo reale, la statua ritrae uno dei più importanti sovrani di Svezia, famoso per il colonialismo svedese, per la sua propensione all'arte e soprattutto per aver reintrodotto l'assolutismo nel regno, morto a Stoccolma il 29 marzo del 1792, per le conseguenze di un attentato alla sua vita avvenuto due settimane prima.
