The centre is well-organized and efficient with a front reception checking and assisting to populate the required documents (though theres a fee to photocopying) for different visa application.

The staff are helpful for a smooth and pleasant process though the visa fee is a little too high!
They will not tell you there is an option to collect passport unless you ask and you will be charged S$23 for courier service fee. As I'm aware of this, I opt for self collectiom and the staff keeps giving negative senarios like there will be very long waiting time - 1 hour - just to collect the passport. Their processing time is long, too. For eg, my finger print was taken on 6 June and the visa system shows it was submitted on 22 June. They are only the only appointed agent with no competitor, they see no need to improve the services. I hope this business model will change.
Read the reviews and was definitely apprehensive about my student visa appointment. However, the process turned out to be smooth and swift. Reached the center for my 8.30 am appointment at around 8 am, and was asked to wait around until 8.20 before joining the line by the security. Joined the line again at 8.20 and was admitted inside at 8.29. For student visa, if you have upload the documents online prior to the appointment, you will just be asked to submit biometrics. Waited for about 5 minutes for my token number to be called and went into the biometrics room. The lady was professional and courteous. I was asked to say my name and DOB to the camera and they then proceeded to take my fingerprint scan. After that, I was good to leave. The whole appointment was done in about 20 minutes. A mere three days later, I received an email from the UK visa and immigration authority that my visa has been granted. A couple of hours later, VFS informed me that my passport was ready for collection. Collection time is from 2 to 4 pm. I reached the center at around 2.05 and left by 2.30. AM stress free and easy experience.
The most ridiculously expensive visa service agent I've used, and they're not even upfront about their costs, you'll be in for a bit of a shock once the final invoice comes through. There are plenty of other agents who are a bit more sincere out there. Will not ever be using CIBT ever again.
Had visited VFS global for a UK business visa. The process is really simple and smooth. The staff is kind and super helpful.

Step-1- Apply for the visa online and upload all documents as requested. Know that you can keep uploading documents 12 hours before your appointment. So, feel free to edit, delete, upload but do not miss to download the final receipt which will mention all the uploaded file names in one document.

Step-2- Take an appointment at a convenient time and reach. It’s okay if you are late by 15 mins. Carry your passport and appointment page copy. No need to carry old passport.

Step 3- You will be issued a token and the wait time starts. You got to be understanding that the staff is doing their best to expedite and help you. You have to be empathetic that machines do take time and some customers who don’t read up well, spend time in asking questions that are already mentioned online. So be patient, wait and spend sometime on social media with your phone on silent mode ofcrse

Step 4- You will be called when your turn arrives. If you have uploaded correctly all docs and are super confident about it, just sign and acknowledge the document that says that you would like to proceed as per your digital documents submitted online. She will collect your passport and give you a printed receipt with collection details mentioned on it. Click its picture and store it safely for collection later. I did not carry any physical documents and no one asks for it.

Step 5- She will ask to go and sit again and wait for biometrics. The number displayed will have BIO in its name. Once announced, just go inside the room. It hardly took 1 minute to sign the document, they ask to look at the camera, pronounce your name and take your finger scans and you’re out.

Now, you’re free to go home and wait.
I went on 4th June morning and received the SMS for collection on 13th June and got it the same day! Hope this is helpful!
By far, one of the fastest and most efficient visa service centers I’ve been to so far. I came on a Thursday at around 9:20am, there was no queue and I finished my application in less than 10 minutes.
Went there on the 26th June, 2024.

Absolutely wonderful service. Went there for my canada biometrics. They were done in like 20 minutes. I reserved the 3:40pm to 4pm time-slot and arrived really late (3:55 ish) and the staff at the time were super understanding and helped me through the process. There was aircon inside and you have to get scanned by security beforehand.

Overall, I think if you go there prepared with everything (appointment letter, biometrics confirmation, passport) you need and if they’re not too busy at the time (They had free appointment slots from 9am to 3:40pm for the whole week so I think they were really free), it will be a fast and efficient experience

thank you to all the kind staff!!!
The person who answered the phone and handled the inquiries was the worst I've ever encountered. She had no understanding of the questions being asked and provided very confusing answers. CIBT needs to improve its customer service and ensure that representatives are knowledgeable in answering questions.
Absolutely atrocious experience was there for passport collection of UK Visa, after waiting in queue outside for some time , was admitted in, only to wait for 1.5 hours to get passport collected. The passport collection counter remained unmanned for extended periods of 10-20 minutes at a stretch and the queue nunber just didn’t move forward. In which embassy or visa centre it takes an hour + to collect the passport?, in addition try using their website in night time and you get logged out and/or the website becomes completely unresponsive ,I spent 3 hours on end May to login my application from 9 pm to midnight , eventually only to give up and spend my day office time to file the online application.. there is no helpline /chat , the email form says resposne in 3 days.. guess the organization needs a top down lesson in customer service .
Got there at 8.45am. Was a short line waiting to get in. Once the doors opened, visa applicants were directed to have a seat. Honour system for who gets served first (first come first served). We were about #5 in line. The receptionist checked the application package first for completion before sending you to wait with your number. The service agent was very helpful and patient, checking for correctness. If anything is wrong, they can help you make revisions and get it printed with a printing fee. All in all was a smooth experience. We were out within 40 min!
Bad Service. Bad attitude. The security lady was very rude. I was checking my message and making no sound. She suddenly grabbed my phone and put it on silent. I was there to collect the photo and fingerprints. The officer was very impatient. Upon successfully collected my fingerprints, there system break down and need to redo again. The officer was very upset and giving me attitude…Ridiculous customer service…..
Not well managed-

1. ‘Keep my passport’ service is not worth it. Expect about 45-90 minutes waiting time when you arrive for resubmission
2. Make sure you don’t use the word ‘collection’ if you’re there to resubmit your passport for the visa (applicable for keep your passport service availers). The collection time differs from resubmission timings and the security person will just send you away and ask you to come between 2-4 pm.
3. Even if you have an appointment scheduled, be ready to wait anytime from 30-60 minutes before being called to the counter. Then biometrics etc will take further long.
4. Good: Staff at the counters are courteous and polite

Recommendations:

1. Overall, does seem like the working operations can get more crisp with their service, adherence to appointment timelines (+15 minutes perhaps) is definitely needed
2. Addition of another screen for people in queue with approximate waiting time will be helpful, for transparency and expectation setting. People are normally in between work days to make it to the appointment
3. Security should be at the door, they are not always at the glass door and people have to wait before getting clarity.
4. Security should ask clarifying questions- collection vs submitting passport etc. Even if it’s the responsibility of the visa applicant to use the right words, in a multi-lingual nation clarifications help. I almost left because the security was just dismissive about collection at 11 am, and asked to come back 2-4 pm. I checked the email again and came back from the lobby and used the words resubmission of passport
5. Add more screens, just 1/2 screens normally blocked by people at the counters don’t help much
I needed an urgent visa for entering into China (5 day turnaround). Called on a Monday morning, and was assured that it would be no problem. I submitted the order with all of my paperwork on Monday afternoon and evening, as the original operator told me the submission needed to occur Tuesday morning. I chose "premium service" for an extra 300+ fee in order to increase expediency. I called again to confirm receipt of documents on Monday evening before closing time. I was told a specialist would call me back. On Tuesday morning I still had not heard back by 11 am so I called again and spoke to a receptionist. She said again I would get a call back. I did receive a call at 12:25 pm on Tuesday. The person told me that there would not be enough time to get the visa by my planned Sunday departure, as the submission needed to happen on Tuesday morning.

I would have appreciate if I was just told it was not possible at the initial contact. Or if they followed through to get the submission in before the cutoff. It would have saved my about two hours of now wasted time uploading documents to their system. Further, I might have had a chance to contact another operator. Instead I was given some excuse about "SLA times" after the cutoff.

Recommend you look elsewhere if your situation is urgent. I can't speak to the service for longer lead times. At a minimum, be advised that reception does not seem to be in contact with other processing staff regarding urgent scenarios.

Reading other reviews here it seems my experience was more or less the same.
