For those who enjoy white sand, crystal-clear water, and a touch of adventure, this is paradise. You can either bundle all the activities together—such as paragliding, sea walking with a helmet, banana boat rides, and jet skiing—for 2,500 baht, or choose individual activities starting at 500 to 800 baht. If adventure isn't your thing, you can simply relax on the beach. Keep in mind that Thailand is currently very hot, and the beaches are no exception. Refreshments are available nearby, but there are no public showers; you'll need to pay an additional 50 baht at nearby restaurants to use their facilities.
Coral Island, also known as Koh Larn, is a well-regarded destination in Pattaya, renowned for its clear, turquoise waters and scenic beauty. The island offers a picturesque escape with its pristine beaches and inviting waters, making it an appealing spot for relaxation and swimming.

However, it's worth noting that the island has become increasingly popular with tourists, which has unfortunately led to a noticeable decline in water quality. The influx of visitors has contributed to the accumulation of waste and debris, diminishing the once-crystal-clear waters. This environmental impact is something to be aware of if you’re planning a visit.

During my trip, I observed a significant presence of Indian tourists, which added to the island's vibrant atmosphere. While this can be a plus for those seeking to connect with others from their own country, it’s important to be prepared for larger crowds, especially during peak seasons.

One point of caution is regarding the activities offered on the island. I recommend avoiding certain activities promoted by local operators, such as parasailing and underwater walks. Some Indian tour groups in Thailand organize these activities, often promising high-quality videos and photos of your experience. However, the reality is that the photos and videos provided can be of very poor quality, to the extent that it’s difficult to even recognize yourself in them. It’s advisable to either seek out more reputable providers or be prepared for the possibility of receiving low-quality media if you decide to participate in these activities.

Overall, Coral Island remains a beautiful destination with its clear waters and charming environment, but the increasing number of tourists and issues with certain activities can affect the experience. If you’re planning a visit, it’s a good idea to manage your expectations regarding water quality and to carefully select activity providers to ensure a satisfying and enjoyable trip.
View @ Bangkok Art And Culture Centre.
.
Opened in July 2008, this is a contemporary arts centre for art, music, theatre, film, design, and cultural or educational events to be held in its exhibition and performance spaces.
.
Designed to symbolize an intellectual assembly point, the curated exhibits are regularly refreshed.
.
There were several interesting commentaries in the exhibits during our visit, from the situation in Gaza, to the ethics of AI.
It’s place can easily access from the canopy. Or on the street. A bit hot but still AC. Not much exhibiting. But they sell the art stuff quite interesting. They have the exhibition on 8th floor but you will need coin (only 1bath or 5baht coin is accepted) to hire the safebox to put your belongings in. Then only you can go to that. But it’s free
One of the most iconic places to visit in Bangkok for Art and Photography lovers. The design of the space is breathtaking and it surrounds you with a feeling of space within a space. The aesthetics of a design is truly felt and the true spirit of Bangkok is revealed. A must go for creative curated minds.
No admission fees is charged there. I enjoyed the exhibition “Photography Never Lies” and “The Miracle Instinct of Mother's Love by Special Needs Artists”.
Very beautiful place and beach ⛱️🏖️The travel in sea by boat is really exciting. Be careful to wear a life jacket. There are many shacks in the shore of island. Paragliding and other water sports are availble on the way to island and in the shore of island also. Chicken food items are very taste and available for reasonable price also. If you like this review, please like and comment. Thank you.
White sand, clear Turquoise water, boats, and happy people.

Cannot beat it. You are allowed to swim here. No sharks. Salt water but very clean.
Cannot beat this beach.

Warning: shower will cost you. Bathroom to change is free.

Plenty of restaurants. Even 711 is here.

Highly recommended
Great place, Great beaches... loved it. Don't buy jet ski and banana ride package, they take you for a ride which doesn't even last more than a minute.
Coral Island is a hidden gem just off the coast of Pattaya. The crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches make it a perfect escape from the bustling city life. The island offers various water activities like snorkeling and parasailing, which are a must-try for adventure enthusiasts. The views from the island are breathtaking, especially during sunset. It's easily accessible by a short boat ride from Pattaya Beach, making it convenient for a day trip. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Pattaya!
Beautiful Island with water sports activities and restaurants. It also has 7eleven but price is slightly high for than the city.
You don’t have to buy ticket in Advance if you play little smartly then go to Bali hai Pier where you get ferry ticket for only 30Baht per person which timings you can check on google.
On the island you get scooter on rent for 180 to 300 Baht. Rent a bike and try visiting all the beaches & make sure you return to the place by 4:30 because 5pm is the last ferry.
This place is completely free of charge which is great when you wanna hangout inside during heat hours! I really enjoyed July's exhibition with a display of (what it seemed to be) AI generated pictures. Not sure about it but I think it's called "photography never lies". Very aesthetic looking and interesting! Recommended
I had no idea that this place was completely free to go into and they run various exhibitions 100% worth a visit. You can access it via the BTS line. A lot more contemporary style art with a very Thai crowd not many tourist actually only ones that wander in occasionally. Multiple different types of exhibitions and shops as well as coffee and a really nice restaurant taste wise!
Great trip to the lawa cave. Good trail, but you need to "mind your head" as there is multiple paths with low clearance. We saw no snakes, only a few spiders but a lot of bats hanging around. But gosh, as Axel Foley would have said: "the heat is on"! We were pouring sweat down there...
The zoo is one of the attractions when you come to Kanchanaburi. It takes 30 minutes drive from the city area. Please be noted to have meals before going there because you cannot find a proper restaurant there. The zoo is quite run down, the facilities are old and renovated many times. Many of the buildings are left unused. The staffs are helpful but they do not speak much of english and chinese. The safari ride is amazing. We can buy carrots to feed the animals. The animals look quite starving and unhealthy. We just drop by and look around. I hope the owner take care of the animals better than this.
All in all a great experience, elephants were roaming free from what I could see and very friendly people, recommend bringing soap, shampoo and towel to bathe afterwards.
Quite nostalgic, as a fine arts graduate seeing students thesis/exhibitions, makes me happy. I recommend visiting this centre, it's a haven for art enthusiasts of all ages. Various exhibits in each floor. Plus it's free!!!
It's a contemporary arts centre. Art, music, theatre, film, design and cultural/educational events take place in its exhibition and performance spaces.

Free entry art exhibitions are there all the time. It's 8 story building. At every floor, there are different art exhibitions. Also at the Underground level there is a quiet library where we can seat and read the interesting books related to different Arts.

Arrived there early in the morning, unfortunately it rained. Had to pay 250baht for a single use raincoat. Feeding the giraffe is a must. Dolphin show is nice. After the dolphin show end. They offer a chance to have your photo taken with the dolphin. Beware of taxi drivers that wait outside, most if not all of them are scam artist trying to make quick bucks from the tourist. Download an e-hailing app so you can pay for at least half or less on what is being offered by the scam artist operating in front of the entrance to the safari park.

Quick tip is get the tickets online, it is way cheaper that way

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My visit to Safari Park Kanchanaburi was nothing short of spectacular. The experience exceeded my expectations in every way, even surpassing the thrill of seeing giraffes in Africa. The park offers an incredible blend of adventure, education, and fun, making it a must-visit destination.

The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the giraffe encounter. Being able to feed and take photos with these majestic creatures was an unforgettable experience. The giraffes were friendly and curious, providing plenty of opportunities for amazing Instagram-worthy photos. I highly recommend purchasing the giraffe encounter package as early as possible since the tickets are in high demand and can be very difficult to obtain. The staff was professional and knowledgeable, ensuring both our safety and the well-being of the animals.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the park's organization and cleanliness. The variety of shows and activities kept us entertained throughout the day. We started with the elephant show, which was both educational and entertaining, showcasing the intelligence and grace of these magnificent animals. The tiger feeding session was thrilling, giving us a close-up view of these powerful predators in action.

The crocodile show and the zoo bus tour were also highlights of our visit. The bus tour provided an excellent overview of the park and its inhabitants, while the crocodile show was both exciting and informative. The park’s layout made it easy to navigate, and the signs were clear and helpful.
Came on weekdays and not many crowd. Love it. The staff were helpful. Must try, giraffe encounter! Separate ticket from the safari and need to booked in advance to get the slot.

Adventureous hidden heaven for locals. Not so touristy, a wode selection of local cuisine. Simplicity i actually chanced upon a kid playing with her pet, a yellow real life baby duckling. That was authenticity of this place. Kid roam around on their own safely. Best is the place where there are live band and bar to sit around. Love the fish bowl size mojito.
Fantastic journey at Coral Island with our knowledgeable guide. Dive into the crystal-clear waters, experience the thrill of parasailing, explore the depths with scuba diving, enjoy banana boat activities, and soak up the warm sun. Our guide ensures you have a seamless and enjoyable experience, making every moment on the island unforgettable! 🏝️🌊☀️
Should have been more maintenanced but overall great place to visit. A bit of a walk up 100 steps to the cave entrance. If they can provide all visitors a light lamp would be great.
It’s local night market , so good just a little bit far from city , but I will suggest go, because better than in the city night market , price is very different as well
450 meters or 30 min. long walk cave, 60 baht fee for one person pay at the check point and request for free flash light. I recommend to have second flash light and travel buddy.
The whole Safari experience was great. First time feeding the giraffe, zebra, goat and camel so up closed.

Except that we were being slot into the last session for photo-taking with the iconic range tram with the giraffe and zebra around us. Not knowing it was the dinner time of the animals, we paid for the last slot.

At one point, the giraffes started behaving impatiently and had a fight among themselves. 1 of the giraffes almost swept me off the top of the range tram during the photo-taking.

After the incident, the keeper told us that our photo-taking session was squeezed and had delayed the animals’ dinner time that’s why the giraffes behaved unusually.
Dad with two sons visited on a hot afternoon. Nice break with free entrance. Art in exhibition space was underwhelming and unfortunately our timing for ASEAN space was off; it closes at 5pm while the main space at 7pm. So go upstairs first if you’re there late afternoon. Guards were a bit surly/clumsy, keeping an eye on us like we were more exotic or dangerous than we are, but perhaps they have had some recent bad experience.
Extremely memorable. Had an unexpected amazing time here. This was one of my favorite places. I won't spoil it but it was beautiful.
Great place to get authentic street food! Everyone is so friendly. Food is amazing.
I visited this place mainly for the giraffes Encounter experience . You need to book this experience at least 3-4 months ahead by sending a message on their Facebook page. They might not reply right away. They'll ask for details like how many people and when you want to go. If your preferred date is full, you'll need to choose another. Some suggest trying to go without booking, but it's better to book ahead to be sure.

The giraffe encounter package costs 1,000 baht per person, and regular entry is 550 baht per person, which you can buy at the counter.

It's about a 2.5-hour drive from Bangkok. I took a taxi at 7:30 am for about 3,500 baht, arriving at 10 am for my 11 am giraffe encounter. You wait at the entrance, and they're on time. A jeep takes you to the giraffe area, where food for the animals is included. The whole thing takes about 15-20 minutes, then they bring you back.

After that, you can buy carrot slices to feed the animals and go on a mini-bus safari park to see deer, giraffes, zebras, tigers, lions, and more. You have to lower the windows for safety.

After the safari park, the bus drops you off at the open zoo area, where you can see monkeys, elephants, crocodiles, and have lunch at the restaurant. When you're finished, you can take the bus back to the entrance.

Overall, the giraffe encounter is great, with helpful staff for photos. The safari park was okay, but I prefer the Bangkok one. The open zoo section was disappointing and didn't meet my expectations.
Lawa Cave is a stalactite and stalagmite cave. The cave is wel known and one of the biggest caves in Kanchanaburi. It s well located by River Kwai Noi. We took around half an hour to explore the cave. It is beautiful an worth visit. The best way to visit the cave may be to stay overnight at a riverside resort hotel near Lawa Cave , River Kwai Resotel resort. We stayed 2 nights there and it was hassle-free visiting the cave on foot.
A lot of interactions with animals such as deer, giraffes and zebras. They can be fed but you need to pay money for the food tray.
There are also elephant and crocodile shows which I feel a bit uneasy about. I heard that these animals are treated well but I don't know.
Parking space is extremely dusty as the ground is not paved. When their safari tour bus drives by, a lot of red dust fly all over the place.
We had to wait a bit in line to get onto the vehicle. There were many Chinese tourists.

This opened zoo is best for kids and family and there are schedule of animal shows too for tigers, elephant, crocodiles, and so on.

Joining activities and see lots of wildlife animal are very impressive, foods for animals are sold to bring yourself close to the animals. The giraffes and deers are come close to the car while you are feeding them.

Parking lots are large. Toilets are provided.
Historic place, in middle of the street
Public space for contemporary art exhibitions. Free entry.

Very big cave and good to visit. There’re local kid guide to service in weekend.

**not sure about Google map but For sure, please check the sign board on the road too!!!

There is a scammer who sell muay thay short 380 baht each, that's toi expansive u shouldn't spend more than 250baht for a muay thay short.
Nice cave to visit when staying nearby. You first go up some steps to the cave entrance. It is pretty dark inside so I recommend bringing some mind of flashlight (your phone flashlight will also work fine). Entrance for foreigners is 300 baht per adult or 150 for children. We were in and out in about 30 minutes

Very pleasant night Market with a somewhat more local vibe than some of the others I went to in Bangkok. It is quite bog actually and has a variety of food and shopping available. You can even get glasses done for a reasonable price here(however it takes about 1 day to make ). Very interesting mix of food available and food was quite reasonably priced

One of the MUST GO night market in BKK!

This is one of the rare gem which rarely see tourist which makes the whole shopping experience pleasant!

The areas are well organised and has plentiful of stuff to play, shop and eat!

Firstly, there are handful of food stalls but each of them selling different types of food and snacks! Restaurants offers buffet and many other types of dishes that will satisfy your tummy!

The shopping zone has lots of stalls selling different stuff like clothings, shoes, nails services and much much more! The night market is located in a open area so it is windy and nice to shop!

There are bars right at the end of the night market and one of the bar even have live music!

Overall, this night market is meant for locals. So pricing is way reasonable as compared to those mainstream night market that tourist went.

One of Bangkok Night Market to visit. Lots of food and alcohol to go for. Many clothes to buy but not the cheapest thou. Recommend to eat as much as possible to have the best for your night. Packet those you can’t already food back to your hotel. Walk as you go naturally, doesn’t need to hesitate to buy what you want. ✌️
Ok.
