Not as crowded as Suvarnabhumi Airport. I took an Air Batek flight there and landed at Terminal 1. There are Bank ATMs and money exchanges, Vat Refund counter, Lounges, Lost & Found center, Tourist Information Counters, Amari Hotel, Sim card network kiosks. One can enjoy Thai dishes, as well as burgers and sandwiches, at the small selection of restaurants and fast food outlets before and after Security. One also can shop for wine, liquor, tobacco and chocolates at competitive duty free prices. There are also stores selling jewellery, souvenirs, books and gadgets, Thai snacks,

We visited Bangkok recently through this airport. There are few food stalls and few 7/11 shops as well if you are looking for reasonable priced food items. The place is properly organized and the washrooms are clean as well.
Bel aéroport, grand, propre et fonctionnel. De nombreuses boutiques de luxe en zone duty free.
Beautiful Airport.. It has changed a lot in the past 3-4 years which was unrecognisable.. Great spaces have come up with all the new sign boards and have added new eateries with more seating.. The washrooms have become more neat and clean with huge space..
The carpet makes it more comfortable for long walks around the airport..

J'étais venu il y a plusieurs années... et franchement l'infrastructure se détérioré du à un manque d'entretien, c'est dommage !!!

Il faut descendre au 1er étages, et allez vers la porte 8 , le " magic food"😉... Nourriture locale et bon marché

It's a small airport but clean, and the staff is very helpful and kind, hope to come here again.
It looks like an old airport, especially on the outside. The terminal is for AirAsia traveller. There are local food, boost, Starbucks, Coffee Club, McDonald's, and other restaurants before you head to departure/immigration check.
Don't worry, there are tons of restaurants once you head to departure.
The journey from luggage drop-off to foreign departure to the flight gate was super smooth for me. This airport doesn't look busy. I have been to Denpasar and Don Mueang is not a crowded airport.
But getting Grab from my stay in Sukhumvit took a bit of time. I went to the airport on Thursday morning. Having said that, the road was smooth heading to the airport.
There are duty free shops, shops selling discounted MK, MCM, Coach, Marc Jacob, and Longlai bags. Idk whether it is cheaper here or elsewhere. But you can claim your 7% VAT (tourist only).
You can get premium mango sticky rice here too (expensive).
There are free water dispensers around the terminals.
If you have time, try Pang Cha shaved ice milk tea. Michelin-star. Expensive, giant ice, so worth it. Good to share with 3-4 persons.
Vat refund (before departure) is only for purchase of 20,000 bath and above. For purchase lower than that, you can claim your refund after the security check/immigration.
You can also take a train to this airport. Look for red line. If you stay at Sukhumvit, it will be a bit hassle unless you live near BTS with interchange.

It was my first time flying out of Krabi International Airport and I was initially blown away when I got there. There was hardly any car traffic at the departure terminal (Hello Los Angeles). The same inside too. Vast spaces and lots of seating while I awaited the check in counter to open. Once I got through, then security and to the domestic gates (7 of them). I was flying out of gate 7 and it was crowded there because there was an Air Asia flight ahead of my flight (on Bangkok Airways). The waiting area by the gate was flooded with people. I tried to go to duty free upstairs but there was no access and it was dead up there.
And by the way, there are local eateries and an international brand or two if you need a bite. Nothing to write home about. All dull choices. Toilets (as they call restrooms here) have tissue paper for wiping hands after washing. I see this in many places (and even in certain hotel toilet areas). Oh well, that is another story. Anyway, to make a long story short, the airport is clean and spacious. But they need to manage their departures by distributing the flights out by empty gates. Yes, I understand there are contracts for airlines and gates, but why choke all the people at one gate for back to back flights? Overall signage is poor. Lang wachten aan de paspoort controle bij het binnenkomen van het land, is het enige negatieve punt aan deze luchthaven.
L’un des plus bel aéroport que j’ai pu visiter ! Les informations sont claires, propreté impeccable. Toujours un plaisir de voyager en Thaïlande et de passer par cet aéroport 🌟
Très bel aéroport, très bien entretenu. On se sent en sécurité. Les boutiques sont belles. La signalétique est bien pensée.
Although it's a low-cost carrier terminal, food prices are still heavily inflated. There's a lot less choice inside the international terminal than its domestic counterpart especially halal food. Water fountains inside the airport are fine to drink from.
Being a budget airline, I expect our hand luggage to be weighed. No one does.
Free charging stations are scattered around the terminal and I'm allowed one hour of free WiFi, which was easy logging into.

Krabi Airport is small but very good and beautiful, as we all knew small is beautiful. Smooth entering, visa on arrival was easy pieces, all technology worked perfect, photo and finger prints, a stamp in the passport - over and out. The airport is full of small shops, selling souverniers, food, textiles, duth free and all the usual things we are used to buy or not;)
Security and all staff around immigration was great and Thailand earn it’s reputation of ”The Smiling People”, you are crazy in love with all these smiles that shows up everywhere. I had a great coffee and enjoyed the view in this very airy airport, sitting on the second floor with full view over the depart and arrival halls, watching people come and go. Now off to Krabi beaches and geg some sand in my shoes.

Belle aéroport, de beaux magasins prix pas cher, les toilettes sont propres. Le personnel est accueillant et attentif.
Il y a un métro pour s'y rendre facilement et de même pour aller à Bangkok à partir de l'aéroport.

Très bel aéroport et d'une simplicité enfantine pour y circuler. L'accès au métro est tout aussi simple pour rejoindre le centre de Bangkok pour moins de 60 bath. En zone d'embarquements, les boutiques duty free sont peu intéressantes niveaux prix. J'ai pas trouvé de vente de cigarettes ni de zone fumeurs. D'où 4 étoiles. L'acces jusqu'en portes d'embarquement S111 est par contre très long il faut bien arriver bien en avance
It was good old airport. Easy to check in and get on board. Then they decided to build this nonsense. Lots of unnecessary spaces for nothing. but when you really need a space so that people can quickly be inspected and boarded, you should experience humiliation like cattle in a barn.
Big changes to this airport since I last used it almost 4 years ago. I didn't recognise it as had been completely refurbished and expanded. Very spacious and lots of eateries and shops within. I had a mid morning domestic flight on a Tuesday and none of the restaurants were very busy, although the prices were typically high as in most airports. Air Asia electricon self check in didn't work for me, but was approached by Air Asia staff member and directed to check in queue and quickly checked in. Nice display of history of aviation in Thailand including large scale models of the original aircraft. Looks like they have spent a lot of money here and easily accessible including by red line Sky Train.

Rude custom, any way whole world custom is rude… but for a place that mainly on tourism… its no brainer to talk rude to upset travelers.

Small but efficient. It has souvenir shops, Eateries, an information counter and most importantly for me, a nice prayer room. Clean toilet. Good job Krabi Airport!!
A small, but very nice and clean airport. We paid into the pearl lounge, it was a lovely place to relax before our flight. My husband said it's the best airport he's been through.

Erg goed geregeld bij aankomst in Bangkok ben je zo door de paspoortcontrole heen ondanks de grote drukte. Vervolgens liggen je koffers dan al direct op de band. Super afhandeling. Enig nadeeltje is dat je best een redelijk stuk moet lopen maar daar ben je dan ook wel aan toe na een lange vlucht.
Super snel en goed geholpen door luchthaven personeel
Prima en ruim opgezet en Mac Donalds etc ook boven bij de shops

Prachtige luchthaven en heel praktisch ingericht. Veel keuze aan voedsel op de derde verdieping. Op de onderste verdieping kan je een taxi bon voor 50 bath kopen met een foto van de betreffende chauffeur van het moment en dan gaat de meter aan hiervoor hoef je niet te gaan overbieden en het zijn heel vriendelijke tevens beleefde chauffeurs.
En de Skyline is top............♥️ en tenslotte gegeten bij mijn favoriet, jammer dat je zo dicht bij je medemens zit.

Niet echt iets te vinden. Weinig winkels, winkels die er zijn redelijk duur. Geen rookruimte, dus eenmaal voorbij security is het tanden bijten. Daarnaast ook geen communicatie of toch amper te verstaan bij vluchten die vertragen of gewoon afgeschaft worden. Voor een luchthaven van dit formaat, zou je beter verwachten.
Een moderne airport met uitstekende domestic verbindingen. Voordeel van een domestic verbinding is dat je na een internationale vlucht gewoon door kunt lopen en de enorme lange wachtrij voor een E-visum kunt overslaan. Het staat goed aangegeven maar iedere security officer wijst je graag de weg.
Attention !!! Arrivez au moins 2h30 à l'avance ici à cet aéroport ci en particulier. Je suis arrivé 2h00 à l'avance (rarement arrivé si à l'avance) et j'ai failli rater mon vol à cause des contrôles trop lents... BKK: Ici on ne rigole pas. On est dans un très grand aéroport peut être un des plus grands du monde à mon avis au niveau des nombre de vols / du trafic car c'est un énorme hub dans l'Asie du Sud-Est et vers les autres continents.
J'aime pas trop cet aéroport. Je trouve que le personnel n'est pas hyper sympa. C'est un peu une grosse usine. Vous êtes vraiment un numéro, comme du bétail cela a été mon ressenti quand j'ai demandé des informations. Cette fois-ci j'arrive vraiment longtemps à l'avance comme j'arrive jamais autant à l'avance et je vais être tout juste pour avoir mon vol. Tellement le contrôle des passeports et lent, il il doit y avoir 14 guichet ouvert mais c'est vraiment pas assez. Il y a vraiment beaucoup de monde et ça n'avance pas. Une personne elle a fait. Il m'a dit que ça lui est déjà arrivé d'attendre 2h ici en haute saison (mais fin janvier pour moi c'est la haute saison...). Pour le contrôle des valises, c'est enlever les chaussures scan 3D. On m'a même ennuyé avec mon power bank (cela m'était jamais arrivé) pour vérifier s'il était bien en dessous de 32000 mAh de capacité. Je ne connaissais pas cette restriction. C'est donc fait une photo du rappel avec tout ce qui est interdit. Regardez. Je trouve que le contrôle des passeport est très mal organisé. Il pourrait se faire beaucoup mieux parce que c'est un peu la foire dans la file on sait pas vraiment ou aller ... c'est presque chaotique.

Aéroport très moderne avec technologie de pointe, que ce soit pour l'enregistrement, le contrôle des bagages et body scanner afin d'éviter de perdre du temps à retirer ses chaussures etc....
Bref aéroport au top ou l'on arrive en moins de 40 minutes à procéder à l'enregistrement des bagages, passer le poste frontière et le contrôle de sécurité et à arriver au duty free.
Au top, bien des aéroports européens devraient prendre exemple, notamment certains en France ou le temps ne se compte pas en dizaine de minutes mais en heures

Slechtste luchthaven die ik ooit heb bezocht. Lange rijen, onvriendelijke mensen, je wordt niet verstaan.
Wij zijn 5 uur voor onze vlucht gearriveerd op de luchthaven maar zelfs dan was het nipt.
Wij zijn 5 uur voor onze vlucht gearriveerd op de luchthaven maar zelfs dan was het nipt.
Druk, hele hoge prijzen, belachelijk voor een koffie vanaf 145 bath, eten helemaal belachelijk. En het ergste van alles dat er een vlucht werd aangekondigd met de verkeerde provincie naam, maar nadat tientallen mensen begonnen te bewegen en te vragen, werd even later, de goeie naam doorgegeven. Schandalig dat dit gebeurd.
Luchthaven Bangkok voor de meeste binnenlandse en sommige buitenlandse vluchten.Oa Air Asia,met Pkuket of Chan Mail.Taxis aan de uitgang,volg de borden,met wel op dat je kleine coupures hebt.Prijs rond de 400 bath naar de stad,.Ook sur Plus voor bagage,30 bath en 50 bath als je tolwegen gebruikt.
Heerlijk rustig en overzichtelijk vliegveld. Wij waren er in augustus 2022z op weg naar krabi en namen 1 koffer mee. De overige 4 hebben we gedropt bij terminal 2 verdieping 2 voor de luggage store. Heel handig.
Mooie ruime airport met veel kleine winkeltjes. Zeer goede en duidelijke bewegwijzering.
Overzichtelijke luchthaven met voldoende personeel. Alles schoon en goed onderhouden! Prima vliegveld.
Inchecken op de heenweg ging vlot maar paspoortcontrole bij de retourvlucht was echt bizar. Zeker 60 personen in de rij, en slechts één van de zeven hokjes open! Zeker een uur staan wachten.
