I just want to say how extremely happy I am to write this review about myself & my family’s experience with Hall Monuments. Brian & Joanne help was immeasurable. First after losing my father-in-law & then, 2 weeks later, my husband’s sudden passing. Their expertise in guiding me through the process and coordinating the details showed just how much they understood & knew just how to help. One stone stood out for me & with their help, was able to make it look beautiful & appropriate as a loving tribute for my husband while honoring his passions in life, music & the NY Rangers. Thank you all again Hall Monuments. I would recommend them anytime.

I am certain that we all know how stressful and upsetting this process could be. With that said, Brian and the rest of his team make this so much easier with their concern and willingness to help making this a smooth and easy process.

When I started looking for a memorial stone, which was very large (10') I went to 4 different places to check out prices. The first one was Hall Monuments. After meeting Brian and discussing things I don't know why I bothered to go to the other places, but I did. Although everyplace I went, I was treated well but price wise Hall was by far the best.

After deciding on using Hall Monuments, I sat down with Brian and discussed what I wanted the stone to look like. He advised me on all matters concerning color, style and engraving.
When the stone came Brian asked me to come by to discuss it. It was better than I expected but after some very close inspection, when I was not there, Brian found a small crack, which was not noticeable at all. Brian told me that it was unacceptable for him to use the stone and ordered a new one.

While waiting for it to come in I must have changed designs 3 or 4 times with Brian always listening and making sure I would be happy. Even when after the stone was set in the cemetery I had to ask for another change before the engraving was done. Again, no problem for him. The monument was better the I expected, and the process was much easier due to the kind, caring and compassion of all at Hall Monuments.

As you can tell I would highly recommend using them as I am certain they would take care of you as they did me and my family.

Joseph G. Hall & Sons monuments was gracious and helpful to design and install a beautiful monument to the victims of 9/11/01 on the grounds of OLHC Parish in Tottenville.

Joann was very knowledgeable and helpful in working with me on selecting a stone for my wife's grave. After selecting it she promised it would be placed before Mother's Day and to my surprise she made that date with 2 weeks to spare. The quality of the stone is first class and I have gotten nothing but compliments on its beauty from family and friends. I highly recommend this business.

After my mother’s death, Brian and Joann were incredible in helping me find and design the most perfect stone for my mother. They were not just sales people wanting to be done with me, they were warm, compassionate, and redid several designs to ensure it was what i wanted. I recommend Joann who made us feel like family and put so much time and effort into our design.

Extremely Disappointed with Kehila Monuments!

I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by Kehila Monuments following the funeral service of my late husband in April 2023. My family and I prepaid for a monument, including stone, portrait etching, and cemetery fees, six months ago. As per our agreement, the unveiling of the monument was supposed to be scheduled around the one-year anniversary of my husband's passing at the end of April 2024.

However, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating and upsetting. Despite assurances from the Kehila Monuments department and the Funeral Director, Daniel, I have not received the promised picture of the completed monument. I have made seven calls to the company, leaving my contact information each time, but have not received any response from Daniel or any other employee.

This lack of communication and follow-through has added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. If I had known the level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer care that I would encounter with Kehila Monuments, I would have never chosen to work with them. There are undoubtedly more reliable businesses that understand the importance of respecting families in times of grief.

I urge others to carefully consider their options before engaging with Kehila Monuments for any memorial services. The lack of accountability and failure to fulfill their promises have been a disappointing and disheartening experience.
