Waited on the phone for minutes, only to be told I can get another appointment for general body check. I am changing service provider.
I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD!!!!!!!
I’ve been a patient of this practice my entire life from being a baby because my family wanted us all to be in the same one and until now I have never had the sense to leave. But first I’ll share my experience:
I have been pushing for multiple diagnoses for years - Over years I have been told multiple times “just ring mind” “just ask for college counselling”
After years of asking since being 16 (I am 25 now) I got a blue moon appointment to talk about my depression plus another mental health condition that I would have needed to be evaluated for. They didn’t entertain it, gave me antidepressants and told me to see how it goes. They are not a good fit for me, my other issues were not addressed and sadly are worsened by the antidepressants they just thrust upon me.
I cannot get through to their phone lines any day of the week - they ask you to ring 8am on the dot to be seen to but even after ringing at 8am 200 times because the other 199 times the line was busy, just to be eventually told I am 10th in queue, by then they are telling me they are only taking emergency appointments despite the fact I’m taking a medication that is making me manic that requires being weaned off of under doctors orders otherwise it would give me severe withdrawal if I were to suddenly stop.
The fact that I need to choose between going through mania or go through weeks of withdrawal is bafflingly not an emergency to them despite the fact it is a medical necessity to follow your doctored ordered withdrawal process. Do better, and do some mental health training. Awful.
