Impressive and unique at the same time, thanks to it's twin towers capped with a set of unusual rooftops that define the Prague skyline. There are some nice gothic architectural details to admire and you can climb the towers if you wish, and if you pay the fee. Inside, however, is fairly disappointing. Just bare stone and white stucco with some out-of-place looking baroque details such as the altar and the pulpit. All and all, an iconic structure that's worth visiting just prepare to be underwhelmed by the interior.

The Church of Mother of God before Týn often translated as Church of Our Lady before Týn, is a Gothic church of the Old Town of Prague having Baroque style at the same time. The church's 80 m high two towers is said to mean Adam and Eve.
This church is just in the Old town square and there are many spots gathered closely each other in Old town square, it is very good to go one to the other.
Its towering appearance with gold plate which is visible from a far is really spectacular due to its location among low height buildings.
In particular, it is famous for its beautiful night view, so it is a must visit place to take night view photos. (Daytime photo is also mandatory)

Really a church that makes the centre of the tower what it is. The sharp spirals are very unique for a church. It can be viewed during the day or even at night as there are a few lights to light it up. The square can get a bit busy so be careful not to lose people. Furthermore if you want food try walking atleast 5 mins aay and you will get better food and prices.

We attended for a Sunday evening concert - was perfect! Show started promptly at 6pm, ended around 7:15 - the earlier you show up, the better your seats!

Brilliant church located in the heart of this old town. Iconic, sacred and beautiful. It is fascinating and important from a historical perspective. I bet that's why it is seen everywhere on postcards, fridge magnets and other souvenirs, and it indeed represents Prague somehow. The lighting at night make it more special especially with the xmas market around. Absolutely a must go in Prague.
