Terrible Customer Service.
We spoke to an employee, in person, at length about what my friend and I wanted, namely a mix of lessons and equipment rental and we agreed a price.
When I returned to take the lesson, I was told the price was wrong and indeed twice as much as quoted. Minimal apology was given and I was told there was absolutely no room for negotiation. This included getting the owner on the phone. I understand mistakes are made - good customer service resolves mistakes, not at the expense of the customer.
I therefore decided I just wanted to hire equipment for a couple hours instead, as per your website. I was then told the information on the website is wrong and I must rent for the full day - it will take your webmaster all of 30 seconds to delete the page with the (incorrect) prices on!
Other than this terrible customer service, the set up is really nice and the equipment looks in great condition, hence 2 stars not 1.
Final word - bring your helmet! People are regularly attempting big air board offs on foil boards = foil boards tumbling through the air from 30+ feet. Crazy when it’s so busy and there are many learners.

What you say in your response is a lie. I talked in depth about wanting to learn strapless surfboard transitions. There was zero mention of jumping or tricks. Your employee said I could get an hour lesson at the same rate as my friend who was indeed taking beginner lessons. When I came to take the lesson, I was told I would be charged almost double what I was quoted.

Few weeks ago I went on kitesurfing trip in DR. I was riding strapless in the outer reef and ended up cutting my feet on a reef near their location. One of the instructors notice that I was limping and came to my assistance. Immediately, he realize the severity of the cut and told me to not worry about my gear it would be taken care of. Once at the school the owners themself administered first aid and explained the severity of getting cut by coral reef (bacterial infection). Not only did they patch me up, they went above and beyond to store my gear and DRIVE me to my resort a few km down the road where we had a Doctor who stitch me up.
These guys were obviously extremely cognizant of the danger around them and took safety very seriously. If I was to advise anyone to go learn how to kite in DR this company would be my first recommendation.

Next time I'm in DR I'm coming over with a case of beers and cool scars to show off

Great kiting school, really loved the lessons, learned a lot. Everyone was very kind and the atmosphere is great. The instructors are great and the owner Doug was very nice and gave us great advice on what lessons to take.
Also a great place to eat lunch and watch the kites.
