We loved staying in the Annex at this hotel. It is in a newly renovated building across the street from the main hotel. A little bit of a view from our rooms (we were on the second floor & could actually see the bosphorus) and the two connecting rooms were perfect for traveling with two kids. The rooms were well appointed, very clean, and nicely remodeled. The people were kind, helpful, and hospitable. The breakfast was spectacular with an amazing view and so many choices that even staying 6 days we always had something new to try. You'll be walking distance to Sultanahmet park, the mosques, the bazaar, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi, the tram which can take you to the subway and the waterfront ferries, and much more. Need to take a taxi somewhere? Use the Bi Taxi app and switch on the taxi meter option otherwise none will come. But careful, getting anywhere in this part of town can get expensive by car due to restrictions and traffic. You can get anywhere in Istanbul from here for less than a buck if you take a few minutes to figure out the public transport. Its not hard - the machines (you'll find them at the Sulatanahmet tram stop) which dispense the Istanbulkart passes have english and many other languages. Be mindful that you are staying in the most touristy part of the city and will be walking through a gauntlet of overpriced, awful restaurants and kitchy souvenir shops everyday. But don't let that take away from the experience. You can eat elsewhere (Galata, Istaklal, anywhere). Tell the restaurant barkers to have a wonderful day, take the tram down to Eminonu and have dinner at Hamdi for the real deal. Thank you Ferman Hotel!

Booked the hotel for 4 days and tried 2 different rooms. Both are really good. Rooms are clean and soap, shampoo bottles are always full.

The man in reception was really kind and ready to help with any problem. My parents really liked this hotel.

Really good territory with different historical mosques. You can listen to the sound of adhan from 5-6 mosques at the same time.

Such a beautiful hotel. Perfectly located away but close to the blue mosque and only a short walk away to the busy streets. Outside is scenic and the rooms are perfect. We were located on the ground floor so we didnt have much of a view, but it certainly helped us leave and get back to our room quicker considering we had kids. I would have given this hotel a 5/5 if the restaurant was a little better. The restaurant was on the top floor with amazing views and for breakfast there was the standard buffet without much variations. This should not sway anyone from coming to this beautiful hotel. Highly recommend it!

I am so glad that I chose to stay at Ferman Hotel while our stay in Istanbul. Receptionists Omer and Nuri were very kind to us and always helped us with the smallest of things. It is located in the prime location where all the touristic sites such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basillica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, etc. were at a walking distance. You can actually see Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia very clearly from the Hotel's rooftop (see photos). The rooms were spacious and the sea view was beautiful. The breakfast every morning was HUGE. I had never seen so many different types of cheese and honeys, cook Kader is an amazing chef! Muhammed and Vedat were great servers at the restaurant.

All in all it was a great experience at Ferman, we definitely recommend it to everyone out there that is looking for a stay at Istanbul.

We stayed at the hotel during 28 April - 1 May. We are very happy with our choice. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The staff is very professional and all of them made us feel like we are in home. True and authentic hospitality. The location is very convenient, as it’s located very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, as well there is public transport (T1) station near to the hotel. The food i good, with traditional Turkish yellow cheese and desserts. We recommend the hotel 100%.
