One of the best places in downtown if you are looking for a nice hotel with the burj view
prices can be a bit over the top, but for a nice occasion like anniversary or else, it’s so nice to got a nice room in front of the burj.
Services and rooms were on spot.

Just came from an event to have breakfast, and I have to say that I appreciate the staff, including Alex Molatte for welcoming me and becoming friendly almost immediately. They always ask me what I want and need, which I appreciate.
My worst stay in a Dubai so far. I have stayed in a multiple hotels here but it is the first and only, which I wanted to leave already on the first day.
In a nutshell: Worst service, longest waiting and a scratched car!
Firstly, the check-in process, while executed by courteous staff, took an inordinate amount of time. One would expect a smoother and swifter experience from a 5-star establishment.
Small thing, but: during the check-in I got my passport back assuming to also have my husband's ID inside. Well, it wasn't. As later we got a call in a form: "You forgot your documents, please come downstairs".
By the poolside, I was disappointed by the strict policies in place. Despite many non-hotel guests instantly walking in and freely taking photos (that was indeed disturbing), my simple request to bring an additional person to my sunbed (so that I could finish my drink) was declined. Therefore I had to dress up and move to the restaurant area, literally one meter away. Such rigidity seems misaligned with the flexibility and accommodation one would anticipate from a luxury hotel.
The valet parking was quite a challenge. Waiting upwards of 20 minutes every single time I required my vehicle is far from the premium experience I had envisioned. And when I asked for a taxi the other time, the guy just forgot about my request, so I had to deal with finding a car myself.
Cherry on top: I have found a big fat scratch on my car rim after using the local valet service!
Another cherry on top - we were charged 2 times.
Calling the hotel today took me 3 min till someone answered the call. 3 min hanging on the line of a 5 star hotel!
Then some waiting on hold as the system wasn't working.
In the end, an excuse due to a system error and promise to return the money. Of course, its always a system error or an e-mail accidentally going to spam folder.
