رستوران Teck Sing

This restaurant has been around for many years. We stopped coming for a while due to covid and the queue was getting too long. We got there earlier this type and managed to get a seat in a short wait. I would say overall, the herbal chicken is good, chicken meat is tender and that's what it is famous for. The other dishes we ordered were average (fried chicken, sambal petai, kangkong, beancurd). We didn't try the fish but saw other tables did.
We will continue to packet just the herbal chicken instead of dining here, as it could be cramp and noisy. Service is good and so are the prices.

Really love the bake chicken, herbal flavor was just right, not too strong or light. Other dishes were also pretty good, had the oat prawns, sweet and sour pork, and shilling tofu.
Definitely one of the best restaurant in Johor.

Service was fast and good, staff were friendly. Price was also very reasonable.

Plenty of parking but might be full during peak hours.

Would go again if I’m ever at Johor.

Herbal chicken was decent, however on the smaller side for RM36.6.

Expected the tofu minced pork RM 12 to come fried rather than steamed.

Sambal kangkong RM13 was not bad.

Steamed cod (seasonal price) at RM120 taste good with the soy sauce.

Stewed pork with Mei Cai RM24 taste below average

The food was really worth the trip! The paper baked chicken and curry fish head are standouts. The chicken was tender and juicy. The fish was fresh and curry was not too spicy. Was lucky to get a table around 12.15pm on a monday. After that a queue started to form.

Tender paper-baked chicken with herbal notes, flavorful with a delicious sauce. For a comforting meal, their claypot curry fish head is a must! Rich & flavorful curry bursts with spices. Be prepared to queue - it gets busy after 6pm during my visit.

INSANELY GOOD MEAL!!! my first time here as someone w very high standards for food and I was blown away. this place seems really popular with the locals too. everything I ordered was so flavourful, yet not too salty and overpowering. the hotplate tofu and chicken are musts to order! atmosphere has AC and is very nostalgic. they accept card payments for transactions above 70RM. will definitely be back again!

Parking a bit hard to come by in the vicinity of the restaurant. Crowd comes in by around 1215-30pm and can expect to queue after that. The paper baked chicken is good but the curry fish head is just above average. Would give that a miss and try other items on the menu next time. Lots of other good restaurants within walking distance.
