I went into the store to buy some shoes, the sticker on the shoes said the pair were on special $110, I went up to buy the shoes and they said it was $190, I was a bit confused and said they say $110. The girl immediately ripped the sticker off and called over her team member, who then were both extremely rude and straight away said they were on special over matariki (a week ago) and they hadn’t removed the sticker however they could not sell them to me at this price as they were the only pair that had the sticker. Quite frankly I don’t appreciate being gaslit into thinking I don’t know my rights as a customer that they have to sell them at the marked price, and especially been spoken to disrespectfully with them knowing full well they were wrong shown by the fact they immediately trashed the sticker. I am honestly annoyed that I still bought them and didn’t stick up for myself more, but your staff should not be treating people this way and I am entirely disappointed in the lack of professional behaviour I experienced.

I was just passing-by and saw a pair of shoes in display outside. Got tempted, so walked in. So impressed by the customer service (specially Jennifer) and the variety of shoes they stock at great prices. First time I visited this store, and planning again to visit Matariki long weekend. Both girls on floor were superb in service. Understood our needs and went 3 times to look for pairs we wanted to try.. i ended up buying 2 pairs. Thank-you.

Awesome deals and great please to buy that’s why giving 1. Otherwise acting manager was very rude and so the staff as well. Doesn’t know how to give a good customer service. Bought a shoes and a guy at the counter pushed a shoe box to my side that’s it. No thanks nothing. When I asked him for bag, a lady over there came to me and said why you are making a big deal for a bag. That’s the way, they treat their customers. Unfortunately manager was on holidays but the acting manager learn how to deal with the customers.

I had an amazing shopping experience at platypus when Abigail assisted me in finding the perfect pair of shoes. Her expertise and sweet demeanour made the process enjoyable and stress-free. Abigail went above and beyond to ensure I got the right fit and style, providing helpful suggestions and a friendly attitude throughout. Thanks to her, I left the store with a smile on my face and a fantastic pair of shoes on my feet and new socks.
