History and modernity seamlessly blend in Piazza San Carlo is the beating heart of Turin. Perfect to admire the grandeur of the twin churches and the iconic equestrian statue at the center of the square. It's the perfect spot for people-watching, sipping coffee at one of the cafes, or admiring the architecture in a vibrant atmosphere.
We came here on a day trip from Milano to see the match between Juventus and maccabi Haifa in the champions League.
The maccabi Haifa fans gathered a cheering parade before the match from the nearby plazza to the location where the buses were waiting to take us to the stadium.
On a regular basis this is the pedestrian street with shops on both sides.

Well kept historical area, a historical and touristic area like this would be more tourist friendly if some English informative guidelines were displayed..
Great shopping but doesn't have convinced travellers for usage public service such as restroom. If the authority increases public restrooms to make travellers easy, access is make feel better.
This main square is a short walk from the Torino train station. It’s quite magnificent and large and plenty to see all the way around the square. When you walk in from via Roma and walk along the left side of the piazza towards the palazzo Reale, on the sidewalk, do not miss to walk by the ‘spin over’ the young raging bull for good luck! There is a lot of history surrounding this piazza and the area, going back several centuries. It’s a lovely place to visit, plenty of cafes and eateries. This piazza is also the happening place of major public events in Torino.
This city is such a different place from the rest of Italy I have seen. The architecture has a French flavor due to its rich history. This square is beautiful! Must travel here .
