The Restaurant at Chedi Muscat المطعم - فندق شيدي مسقط

Extra star for the ambiance and service that lives upto the Chedi name. Found the food mediocre, unfortunately. Burrata was lacking flavours - could have used an extra drizzle of pesto and balsamic vinegar.
Mushroom soup was excellent.
Tiger prawns and chicken safadi were just okay.
For the mains we ordered the Rogan Josh- the meat would have been more tender and the rice it was accompanied with was not basmati and was not "biriyani" as noted in the menu if I remember correctly. The lamb tagine and the arabic grill platter were okay - lamb chops were delicious!
