Arbutus is the cutest little cafe in kits! It’s the warmest place to go on a cold day and their matcha latte is pretty good! The staff there are so incredibly nice and welcoming and helped me out for suggestions from the menu. I had the mixed berry muffin and Brie sandwich. The food was ok, but truly the ambiance is what makes a cafe and this one has the best music playing!

I love Arbutus coffee. I come here almost every day. But the service has changed a lot. Now they are super slow to prepare your order, it takes them more than 15 min to fulfill your order when there are only 2 people ahead of you.
The staff is always chatting with each other, eating or doing everything except working. They get distracted and mess up your order.

Many times I prefer to go to another coffee shop because I don’t want to wait for 20 min for my coffee and slice of bread :(

Nice coffee but it's definitely a bit overpriced. I get that it's a local business so requires higher prices that the bigger chains but charging nearly $1 for oat milk replacement in a small latte seems unnecessary when you can buy a 1.75l carton in most grocery stores for $6. It should be accessible for anyone to have a plant-based diet, not just those who can afford it.
