Lemon and thyme croissant was delicious. Same for the ham and cheese croissant. I also ordered the apple spice latte not realizing it was not a coffee based latte but it was still lovely! The place was very clean and the staff were incredibly sweet and attentive.

5 stars for friendly & efficient staff, warm cabin-like ambiance, tantalizing aroma of quality coffee. And I was pleasantly surprised by quality of chocolate macadamia banana bread--like home baked, yum!!!

店内は広いが人気店なためか、混雑していました。WiFiもあり、作業している人も多かったです。
おすすめされたズッキーニのチョコマフィンは甘いだけではなく、、プチプチ食感もありスイーツというより食事としても感じられました。とても美味しかったです。コーヒーと合いますね。スコーンも軽くサクサクして、中はふんわり生地でした。温めてもらえたのでとても美味しくいただけました。

They need unsweetened soy milk, drinks taste so sweet it’s gross. You can add your own sugar or honey if you like that. Often out of homemade milk, but great they offer it. Good vegan snack ball by TLF. I’d love if they had turf goodies! Staff nice, often slow as busy.

Pretty cute little cafe. They had a couple seasonal drinks on the menu and a nice selection of snacks, but I wasn't blown away by the (autumn spice) latte or cookie (with no name).

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff though! Would come back to sit and work on my laptop.

This place has the best croissants! They usually have lots of cool flavours to choose from and they are all so decadent.

They also have a rotating selection of drinks, in addition to the usual suspects. I hade a delicious hojicha maple latte on this visit!

It's usually insanely busy here, but got a table on my last visit and service was excellent.

Arbutus is the cutest little cafe in kits! It’s the warmest place to go on a cold day and their matcha latte is pretty good! The staff there are so incredibly nice and welcoming and helped me out for suggestions from the menu. I had the mixed berry muffin and Brie sandwich. The food was ok, but truly the ambiance is what makes a cafe and this one has the best music playing!

I love Arbutus coffee. I come here almost every day. But the service has changed a lot. Now they are super slow to prepare your order, it takes them more than 15 min to fulfill your order when there are only 2 people ahead of you.
The staff is always chatting with each other, eating or doing everything except working. They get distracted and mess up your order.

Many times I prefer to go to another coffee shop because I don’t want to wait for 20 min for my coffee and slice of bread :(

Good drip coffee(less sour taste made me energy up today after Spin class) and small bite. :)

バンクーバー出身の友人に勧められてモーニングに伺いましたが、大正解！！blueberry pavloma cruffinは中に入っているレモンカードとブルーベリージャムが見事にマッチして、めちゃくちゃおいしいです！！！これは必食。家の近くにあったら毎週通いそうです…

ブラックコーヒーはもっと深煎りだとより好みでした。

Nice coffee but it's definitely a bit overpriced. I get that it's a local business so requires higher prices that the bigger chains but charging nearly $1 for oat milk replacement in a small latte seems unnecessary when you can buy a 1.75l carton in most grocery stores for $6. It should be accessible for anyone to have a plant-based diet, not just those who can afford it.

Un lieu très sympathique loin du tumulte de la ville et en même temps juste à côté. Lieu très agréable pour se reposer et boire un café. Je recommande vivement.

The owners were so friendly and passionate about the food and drinks they make. They showed us a sesame milk alternative that was delicious! It was tasty with the Salted Sakura Latte I got. The vegan chili tan tan ramen was also so flavourful, umami, packed with veggie goodness. And it's apparently made completely from scratch! I'm so happy to see another Asian-owned business spring up in Chinatown!

Update: Get their creamy uni udon pasta dish. You won't regret it!
