Xenses is such a fun park for ages 5+! We enjoyed every attraction - discover them yourselves.
You should bring a waterproof phone case + lanyard if you want to take your phone along.

Something I really recommend is paying for the pictures, they don’t disappoint, they are great quality, you can take as many as you wish and they are available right after you exit the park.

We appreciated how helpful the staff was. We do realize it is really hot in the central area, which is not enjoyable.

I thought it was going to be boring compared to the other parks but I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth a visit but only if you do all the attractions.

My husband and I went with our 26 and 11 year Olds. Everyone had fun. We laughed so much. For a small park this place has packed a lot in. In my opinion this one is about the pictures. I HIGHLY recommend the photo package. Between the 4 of us we had over 400 pictures. Cute family pictures, funny pictures, what in the world pictures. We were not sure what to expect because we have seen some mixed reviews. Xences turned out to be one of our favorite parts of our vacation. It is typically hard to please everyone and this one did it. Not to many places you can fly like a bird, get a mud bath, go through a car wash, be a giant, and see waterfalls in one place. Enjoy being amused and bring the kid out in you if only for a little while!

Loved this place. I felt a sense of discovery and adventure that I haven't felt before at a theme park. And it's hard to really call this a theme park, it's more of an experience. Portions of it are almost spiritual. A beautiful tropical setting too.

We've been to three Xcaret parks. Xcaret, Xel Ha and Xenses.

Of them, this was very likely the best and I think they do a poor job marketing it.

So here is what it is...

First, it's a small park with very specific guided experiences that are meant to create a sense of wonder, awe, and fun.

No real thrill rides here but everything is thrilling.

The center of the park is the hub of everything. Everything starts and ends at the hub. My family and I spent 15 minutes playing in the bathroom because it was so much fun (there are fun things to do in there. Really!)

There is what we call the dry side of the park... This is where the sensitorium is. A completely in the dark sensory experience. We all loved it.

Change into swim suits and put on your water shoes before you head to the heart beat room and on to the wet side of the park.

Here you'll experience gravity defying pueblo village, the water slide, bird flight, the mud bath and more.

Some advice...

On the wet side you're encouraged to remove your shoes. They don't mean water shoes! Keep those on, you'll be doing a lot of walking!

The water slide promises a "Surprise" at the bottom and our whole family hated it. They send you down a body slide into the pitch black and drop you into a 6 foot deep pool.

The problem is, you can't see it coming so you can hold your breath. Basically the surprise is drowning.

Shocked that they have this experience.

Other than that, everything else is fantastic.

The food was good, we got the hotdogs, we bought souvenirs, and generally really enjoyed ourselves!

We would definitely come back!

Oh, and DEFINITELY get the photo pass. It's one of the big attractions!
