It's a nice, uncrowded museum with mainly interactive tools (great for kids) to understand how scientists explore ship wrecks.
There are very few artefacts there which is why they sell you the option of a combined ticket with the Vasa museum where real artefacts are in display.
The Vrak also has a good quality snack bar with a choice of salads/pizza/fried sandwiches. And finally its one of the rare museums around that has lockers (!).

Even if you aren't interested in naval history and wrecks, you will enjoy it. The scene is set perfectly by a small film by the entrance, which leads into a similarly aesthetic room containing projections of a sunken ships artifacts, as well as a few brought to the surface. It explains the story of the ship, and it's crew. Then upstairs it goes through wrecks of many different time periods and areas, ending with one that happened in the near past. It ends with an interactive exhibit about maritime archeology, where you can explore some of the methods and work yourself. Definitely worth a visit, especially since it's included with a bunch of combo tickets.

This museum is included in City Pass (best and cheapest option for visiting museums, in my opinion), so if you’re around and have the pass, you can check it out but otherwise I would not highly recommend it. As the name suggests, it’s related to ship wrecks. The only part I really enjoyed was the movie.

Not my subject, but if I have to be objective it is a really good museum. A lot of interactive exhibitions, which show you various topics connected with sunken ships. Really impressive.

Fascinating interactive museum. It is focused on ship wrecks , as the name suggests. Very calm exhibit area with great inclusivity for English speakers which we appreciated.
There are too many exhibitions and areas to describe but definitely allocate yourself an hour to two to explore this museum. Very sensory as there are tactile and interactive exhibits.
Just enjoy.

Great museum, quite small but very interesting and modern. The ship "Gående mand" plays a large part in the exhibition. The floor in the room gets "3D like" when you take a picture of it and there are modern holograms showing things found in the wreck. On the first fluor you can dive down to a wreck Weaving virtuel reality glasses. And I love the museum's logo!

Beautiful ship don't go if you have agoraphobia but the size just hits you with awe and wonder as you know that people like us made it. each beam that is bigger than 2 men around was chopped down and processed. the ship in it's current form only has 1/4 of the masts it has plenty of signs in swedish, English, German and French. The signs showed the ship in what would be it's original form which was beautifully painted the whole ship could be considered a work of art. the signs also described the importance and reason for each carving on the ship and the reason for it's decided placement. it's reason for sinking is quite humourous as well the ship was in two battles and only sank after a week after the battle for not apparent reason.
