Called up to speak about registering a friend who’s just had a heart attack and surgery. Obnoxious receptionist was no help and wasn’t interested in the slightest

Pathetic, never answer the phone when trying to make appointment. I’ve never ever been successful getting an appointment by phone. Either have to phone 111 or personally have to attend and end up having a disagreement with them at the surgery. They just don’t answer !!!

Been going to these doctors pretty much my whole life (and I'm now 40). Don't understand the negative reviews as think these guys are great. My wife and kids go to another doctors which is more convenient to where we live, and I have no intention on changing to them. These guys are brilliant. Of course there's waiting times at present which can be frustrating, but every GP surgery is like this at the moment. When you're with them they diagnose you quickly and get you sorted. Never had any complaints whatsoever with this surgery

A family member of mine was told they’d been referred to a service three months ago and to wait a call back, only to contact the service themselves to discover no such referral had been made. When peoples health and wellbeing is at stake mistakes like that cannot be allowed to happen.

Would have better luck getting through to a phone number that doesn’t exist you have to call a minimum of 25 times before getting through on a morning , better off going onto the NHS app and submitting an Econsult for a call back from the doctor within a day , the doctors there are fabulous and caring however today whilst I was attending an appointment there was a parent with multiple children 5 minutes late and I heard the nurse saying to another doctor “I mean she’s late do you still want to see her” which I find absolutely ridiculous are peoples circumstances not even considered I understand from the aspect of appointments after but the attitude alone was enough to make me see otherwise to the doctor replied yes surely if she didn’t want to see the patients she wouldn’t have called out for them ?

Got told to phone on the morning so I did. Phoned 33 times at 8am before I got through. Told to call back the next day told there were no appointments left by a rude obnoxious receptionist.
Called 111 later that day, referral went into the doctor within 10 minutes called surgery again receptionist said she will ring me back before 6. Called later only to be sat on the phone for 15 minutes on hold and then to be cut off a few minutes before 6pm (when the surgery closes).
Yes there may be a lot of other patients who need a doctors appointment but to be told to ring back constantly and being told I will get a call back and didn’t is quite appalling.
I feel with this surgery it’s only the “regulars” who get appointments ASAP.
