We didn't have a reservation but they were easily able to fit us in for breakfast.

We ordered the Benny with bacon, and Benny with mushrooms and spinach. Yum!

The food was not to my taste, it could have used some greens because it was very greasy. Also the price was pretty high for portions so small. But the atmosphere was nice and the staff very friendly

Amazing food! Service was very quick and the staff were all lovely. I have a gluten allergy and there were plenty of gluten free options available.
We actually came back the next day for brunch as we really enjoyed ourselves.
Would highly recommend!

Our experience has been biased as we did not.

We went with 2 on a monday morning, we needed to wait 20min, and after we were seated they mentioned we had 1 hour. After having the Benny Eggs, which were good, we wanted to order the french toast. Still 35min left on the clock but the kitchen refused as it didn’t fit our time window anymore. After just having another coffee and a croissant (both very good) we were sitting alone in the room with 6 empty tables.

We ordered:
Brioche French toast with Greek yogurt & Banana. 9/10
Scrambled eggs on a sourdough 8.5/10
Zaatar spiced scrambled eggs 7.5/10.
Scones 8/10 ( because it wasn't served fresh)

Brunch here was probably the highlight of our stay. The turmeric smoothie was a revelation and paired perfectly with the baked eggs. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable concerning our Gluten intolerances. It's not often you're spoilt for choice for gluten free options, but this is one I heartily recommend (yes, that is GF haggis and black pudding)

My wife and I went here for lunch the other week. We didn’t have a booking and it was busy so the gent said that we could get a table if we come back at 13:30. When we came back at 13:30 the guy said that we were lucky because he was about to give the table to someone else because he had us booked in for 13:15. So obviously an error on his part but we all make mistakes. Although, I don’t think he owned up to it. Anyway the staff were very friendly. There is a good selection on the menu. My wife and I got a couple of smoothies which were ok although I had to get our own straws. My green smoothie wasn’t as enjoyable as my wife’s. For food my wife got the soup and focaccia which she really enjoyed. It was surprisingly filling. I got the carrot and kale salad as well as a toastie (can’t remember the filling). Both of these were lovely. The sweet chilli sauce that came with the toastie was tasty. I would say it was a little on the expensive side but I suppose it is city centre so what do you expect? I cafe itself is a lot bigger than you would expect from looking from the outside. I love the relaxed vibe of the place.
