I am generally not an enjoyer of modern art, so I came here to challenge myself. A good choice!! This is such a great museum, with thoughtful design and some really cool artists on display. Absolutely a great choice for stockholm if you only have a few days and want to catch something different.
Very interesting work, and special exhibitions, well organized , if you like unusual and modern art this the place to go to
I’m not really sure how I should feel after visiting this museum. Some parts of the museum were under construction (closed at the time). Not many signs to get around in a logical and simple way. Some world-famous artists, but mostly local art pieces. At least the ticket price was not the worst.
Moderna Museet in Stockholm is a renowned museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art, featuring an extensive collection of works by prominent artists such as Picasso, Dali, and Warhol. Visiting the museum, I was impressed by the diverse exhibits, ranging from paintings and sculptures to photography and multimedia installations, all set within a beautifully designed space that enhances the experience of exploring modern art.
I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibitions on the first floor of modern museum the way they are displayed is impressive and engaging. However, the downstairs exhibitions weren't as captivating or interesting as those on the top floor. The souvenir shop, on the other hand, offers some amazing and intriguing items, making it a delightful end to the visit.
It may differ from a 'typical' modern art gallery. Some people may be interested in new display methods and curatorial ideas, while others may find it confusing. The restaurant is a plus to my visit.
