The simple but imposing 16th century fountain of the Goddess Roma adorns the facade of Palazzo Senatorio, one of the three buildings that surround the Piazza del Campidoglio.

There are quite a few interesting things to see at Piazza del Campidoglio including the monumental Roma Goddess fountain adorning the facade of Palazzo Senatorio.

What you will see is a large central niche with a fairly small goddess Roma. She is flanked in the the two River Gods Nile and Tiber are are noticeably much larger than the goddess figure.

It is a nice fountain monument that is worth a few minutes to enjoy when you are sightseeing on the square. There are quite a few other statues and monuments scattered around, these are worth spending a few minutes to enjoy as well.
