Do Not Order from Dacor. The showroom staff is awesome, but warranty service is awful and for the amount of money we spent you can get a better product with beyter reliability.
I spent over an hour being tossed around to get a part that hadn’t shipped with a $10k fridge - only to be denied by a “manager” of the warranty team (Jared) after being told by a triage rep that the part was important and would be covered under warranty.
When I found out the part - was only $100 I of course was happy to just buy it myself - but of course Jared wasn’t able to assist in that either and so now I need to get the missing part myself, from an authorized retailer. Not that the phone support people understand or care but this isn’t about the money - I’d happily spend the $100 even though I shouldn’t have to. It’s about their lack of respect for the time their clients have to spend, and the annoyance of being bounced from person to person only to find out they can’t assist.

Dacor is trash! I purchased a Dacor range for my mom's home and we've had issues from day 1. When you turn on the oven there is a very loud fan sound that constantly runs. I've never heard this on any other range and thought it had to be defective. I called Samsung (The parent company) immediately while under warranty and they sent out a tech who claimed this was normal. I took their word for it and we let it be.
I've had this range in operation for about 3 years now and since its been out of warranty it stopped working twice. We've had to replace the ignitor and with the most recent disruption in service it turns out now the thermostat needs to be replaced to get it back up and running. The tech that came out to diagnose the issue is also telling me that the loud fan sound that I called about while under warranty and was assured was normal is the cooling fan and it is NOT normal. This would also need to be replaced in order to have the ability to have a conversation in the kitchen when the oven is turned on. I've had a Wolf range in my own home for about 7 years now with zero issues. If you want to get a high end commercial style range, go with Wolf or just stick with a basic GE.

Major disappointment! This Dacor refrigerator came pre-installed in the house I purchased. Within a year, it malfunctioned and required repairs. While Dacor fixed it once, it broke down again shortly after. To my extreme frustration, Dacor then refused to honor the warranty, claiming it was a product defect that couldn't be fixed.
This is completely unacceptable! A high-end appliance like a Dacor fridge should last much longer than a year, and the company should stand behind their products. Their warranty policy seems worthless if they deny coverage for clear defects.
Save yourself the headache and avoid Dacor refrigerators! There are far better options on the market from companies that prioritize quality and customer service. Look elsewhere for a reliable and trustworthy appliance brand.

Buyer beware!! My 4 month old Dacor dishwasher broke and I have been waiting over a month for the part which is on back order. Customer service is useless since there is no communication with the warehouse. Trying to reach a supervisor is impossible as they do not accept calls and when someone finally returns the call, they are not truthful. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on Dacor appliances. They claim to be a high end appliance manufacturer but, in actual fact, produce sub par appliances that cost a fortune. Please stay away and spare yourselves a lot of aggravation.
#Dacor policies are not customer friendly. We bought a newly renovated home and the DW broke down on first cycle and they won’t transfer two year warranty from previous owner to the new first time owner. #Dacorbad
