I was looking forward to visiting this museum. I really like museums and visit them all the time but this was one of the worst museums I have been to. I was looking forward to Viva Mexico exhibition and it was pretty terrible. If you have ever visited Mexico and fell in love with it you will be disappointed and if you have never visited it, after this exhibition you will not have a wish for it at all. It's unbelievable to me how an exhibition portraying Mexico can be boring but here it is, in this museum. And then you go to the upper floor and visit other installations, just as dull as the Mexican one. Why is there a Swedish folk song playing in the area where Native Americans are portrayed? I felt this was kind of derogatory and gave me a bad feeling. And the room representing Africa looking like a children's playroom?
There were a bunch of questions marks above my head, confusion, annoyance and overall bad taste in my mouth in the end.
4.3 is a pretty bad review but I came here to read the comments to see other people's experiences. I see that a lot of reviewers had a free pass which just means that it's pretty easy to give a decent or good review with a combination like that. I payed for a daily ticket which is about 13 EUR and I would call this robbery.
I know that there is a yearly pass for multiple museums but for a person staying for a few days wanting to visit just his museum it's just not worth it.

Mycket välordnat och renstädat museum! Bra för barn, särskilt afrikanska avdelningen där barnen kunde skapa egen afrikanskklingande musik. Mexikanska utställningen väl genomtänkt
Mycket god mat i restaurangen!

博物館の入口近くに狛犬が置いてあったり、浮世絵ロードがあったりと興味深い。まさかこんな遠いところで日本の物に会えるとは思っていなかったので驚かされた。今回は時間が無かったので博物館自体には入らなかったが、次回ストックホルム再訪の折は、訪れてもいいかもしれない。

Vi besökte museet för att vi ville titta på utställningen ¡Viva México!. Den var mycket fin, men lite för liten. Tyvärr fanns inte mycket att se, och jag hade velat se mycket mer. Entréavgiften var 140 kr, men du kan köpa ett årskort för samma pris, vilket ger tillträde till fyra olika museer under ett helt år från den dagen du köper kortet. Personalen vid entrén var trevlig. Idag var det många besökare på andra museer i området, så det var svårt att hitta parkeringsplats.

2023年每周二下午14-17点免费入场。有来自世界各地不同族裔的民族藏品，可惜广而不精。好处是可以在一家博物馆穿梭于不同时间与空间。

Es war ein wirklich toller besuch in dem Museum.

Dafür, dass der Eintritt vor allem umsonst war hat es alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen.

Natürlich ist es immer heikel mit Themen zu arbeiten die emotional und geschichtlich aufgeladen sind. Jedoch wird das problem gelöst indem keine Partei ergriffen wird.
