Had drinks and mumbles one evening and enjoyed. A couple of weeks later came for lunch and our meals were very tasty.
I had a cocktail made which was no longer on the list when I visited the second time which they kindly made me but I didn’t get much in the glass and it was over £14.

It's a very good pub which you should definitely visit if it's close to Victoria Station
Came here last week with my family to celebrate a birthday and it did not disappoint!! Such a lovely atmosphere inside and great menu. The scallops and seafood linguine was delicious, I would highly recommend. We were too stuffed for dessert but I will have to come back because they sounded so good! We were all impressed with the service, very friendly and helpful. Lovely visit :)
Came here with a couple of friends a few weeks ago and had a really great experience! The staff were really friendly and the food/drinks were delivered promptly to our table! The manager (think his name was Tom) was really lovely to us all and we had a lovely female waiter (can’t remember her name but she had brown hair ). Definitely will be back and recommend getting the fish and chips if you visit!
Had the best scotch egg of my life here!!! All the food options are great (been here several times) but highly recommend haha. Also the staff were so lovely and accommodating. Totally recommend going here; the location is perfect and always great atmosphere. This time my friend had the fish and chips and they DID NOT disappoint. Crispy and flaky fish which is how it should be done.

If you’re looking for a charming dining experience, look no further than Walker's of Whitehall. Their menu is typical English culinary fare, offering an good selection of dishes that cater to different tastes and preferences. Our selection was the Scotch Eggs, Chicken liver pate, and the Chicken Schnitzel, which were all delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making this America's visit a true pleasure. I looked at several other places and chose this because it was down a quiet alley, and the atmosphere was very quiet and intimate at a very busy time of day.
Stopped here on a whim for an early dinner after slogging through Camden Market and so glad we did. Bright, welcoming space and really friendly staff who went out of their way to make two tourists feel at home. Food (I had the braised beef cheeks, pictured) was excellent, and a decent selection of wine was on offer. Would definitely return. Oh, and there were a TON of dogs in the place later (with their owners), if that's your thing.
Really nice pub! Made to feel very welcome. Can't comment on the food as my wife and I had eaten earlier in the evening, but did look very appetizing. Good range of drinks available and at typical London prices. Will definitely pop in again.
Excellent roast pork with plenty of fresh vegetables. The flavours came through so well. Service was very friendly and efficient and loved the atmosphere. No music or sports to interfere with the dining!
Chef Damiano at The Engineer Primrose Hill crafts incredible dishes with precision and flair. The food is consistently superb, and the service is impressively prompt. A must-visit spot for anyone craving top-notch cuisine!
Sehr schöner Pub. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen direkten Wasserplatz und lecker gegessen. Immer wieder gerne.
Perfect service and perfect food. We visited the pub three times for dinner before sleep. The staff is very gentle and attentive. They take care their customers.
Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, es gab auch vegane und (auf Nachfrage) glutenfreie Gerichte. Da wir spontan vorbeigekommen sind und der Bereich im Erdgeschoss bereits ausgebucht war, haben wir einen Tisch im Keller mit urigem Ambiente bekommen. Es hat uns sehr gefallen!
What a fab little find, tucked away! The Sunday roast was delicious and I have been dreaming of a decent roast for a number of months as an expat living in the USA! This did not disappoint! Beef cooked to perfection! Huge yorkie! Vegetables spot on (and I could swap my carrot for hubby’s parsnip which was the epitome of a perfect meal for me!) The Guiness was perfectly chilled! The sausage roll bites and the puffed pork crackling was just perfect to start the meal off! Sadly as much as I would have loved to… I just could not manage the rhubarb crumble which I’d had my eye on !
Service was friendly and attentive and nobody felt rushed! A definite must now on our trips back home!! Thank you for everything ! It was delicious and just perfect! Faultless! Next time… it’s a definite .. I will be trying out that dessert menu!

A great place for Sunday lunch, an evening meal or drinks and snacks. Usually quite lively with a very pleasant decor. Smart clientele - well, it is Belgravia. The ground level bar/restaurant area isn't that large but they have a good sized restaurant on the first floor. Reasonably priced.

I’ve been to the engineer before for drinks so decided to go for a Sunday roast after a walk in Primrose Hill.
We went for the sharing roast, which consisted of beef, chicken and pork belly - which comes with Yorkshire pudding and all the veg for two people.
It was absolutely delicious! Wish it had been slightly hotter when it came out. But otherwise it was sensational.
We ordered cauliflower cheese on the side which was classed as an extra.
We had a soft drink each which came to £62 per couple.
The service was excellent and the pub itself was very quaint. Would recommend having lunch here again!

I love the vibe of this little pub. The staff are super friendly and it's clean. They do good food, and cocktails. ££ The only thing is that the crust of the pizza was incredibly thin and not very nice..... They also got our vegan pizza order wrong 😅 I had a lovely Shirley Temple non alcoholic cocktail here.
Highly recommend this place for Sunday roast! I took my international friends here to have their first Sunday roast experience and they loved it. I really enjoyed my haddock and chips, and then our brownie ice-cream for dessert - everything was done to perfection. Lovely relaxed and cozy atmosphere although it does get very busy peak lunch (as expected!), nice drinks, great staff.

Food is ok but my lamb roast is like it’s the trimming of a nice lamb leg. bits and pieces here and there but it’s nice that they ask if you would like your lamb to be fully cooked.
Beef roast only have pink or well done option so we opt for pink. Lucky it is to our liking but it might be too cooked for people that like it a bit rarer.
Big portion of the chicken roast and there’s option for a whole chicken.
Veggies are quite soggy but the potatoes are nice.
Overall not the best and can be a lot better.

I was on a day trip to London and wanted to have lunch somewhere and I found this place tucked away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic too.
I was walking around the neighborhood looking for a place to eat some fish and chips before hopping on my flight back home. I saw a post here claiming that this guys had “the best F&S in town”.
I’m no expert, but I know a good crisp when I eat one, and I also know when a fish is cooked dry. And this dish was just PERFECT. The chips were also crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside.
The rest of the experience was great, nothing to complain about! Mary was great and everything was spot on.

We chose this restaurant based on Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. We each began with a glass or champagne which was delicious. My friend had 3 small plates - Figs and Goat cheese, bread, and soup. She loved all of them but couldn't eat but about ½ of the soup as it was so rich and plentiful. I had the fish and chip and it was a large portion and delicious. Loved the very upscale pub atmosphere - bustling and lively yet you could see everything as it is well lit, unlike many pubs. We put this on our list of ' must return to' places to eat when in London again
Wonderful place near Harrods. Excellent food and dessert choice. The souschef is Italian and everything is tasty and perfectly prepared. The apple pie is not to be missed! Very welcoming staff and nice decor ambience.
Wer fish and chips hier versucht hat, will sie nirgendwo anders essen! Uriges, originalgetreues Flair! Perfekte Aussicht!

I booked the Brunel Bar at The Engineer on Saturday 16th for a group of 16 for the xmas set menu. We had the room for 4-5 hours and honestly cannot fault the service we received. Angelo and his team were so so helpful, put on Christmas music for us, and the addition of having our own bar in the room made drinks super easy. Special shout-out to the pineapple mezcal margaritas which were so good. Set menu was £42.50 and food was good throughout. We preordered by sending over a Google sheet rather than on design my night, but everything was great and came out at the same time, and nothing was missing / wrong which is rare with big group orders. It’s the first time we’d done an xmas meal like this altogether and everyone’s feedback was great, meaning we’ll more than likely be back next year. Thank you again to the team - we loved it 😊
Booked the Engineer room at The Engineer for our Christmas get together. Suffice to say, that it didn’t disappoint. We had the festive menu for £42.50. 3 courses with generous carvings of perfect cooked roast turkey. The vibe was absolutely festive and Angelo and his team made sure we were well looked after. Thanks guys, we’ll be back next year!

It is split on 2 levels with the main area dominated by an island bar. There is also a few tables outside and a quirky beer garden with colourful umbrellas providing limited shelter. There is also a picture of a young girl and a lion that is rumoured to be a Banksy!
We visited on a lovely, sunny Sunday and were keen to get an outside table or one in the beer garden. Although the pub was busy we were given a table in the beer garden after a short wait 😀
There is good selection of beers, spirits and cocktails.
The food was excellent - my Seafood Linguine was absolutely brilliant with lots of mussels and tasty, succulent prawns.
I can honestly say that it was better than any similar dish that I've had in any restaurant! Definitely a gastropub 😀

Toller Laden direkt an der Themse. Man kann sowohl drinnen als auch draußen toll sitzen. Geordert wird englandtypisch innen. Auch hier kann man toll auf die Themse schauen. Der Aussenbereich ist natürlich im Sommer the Place to be. Die Getränkeauswahl ist riesig, wir hatten lokales Bier und Fish and Chips. Hier muss man einkehren wenn man in Greenwich ist!
Ein Ort wunderschön an der Thames gelegen, mediterraner Flair, super Aussicht! Gut wer im Sommer reserviert, dann hat man einen Platz in der ersten Reihe 👌

Dai piatti tipici inglesi alla pizza made in Italy. Posto accogliente con più location all'interno della stessa struttura. Dal giardino esterno al locale interno stile pub, dalla sala superiore più moderna al balconcino - terrazza. Servizio eccellente, ottima cucina, atmosfera molto piacevole.

Delicious food, but service is a bit slow - highly recommend the Sunday roast, we had the mushroom option and it was delicious. The panna cotta dessert was excellent as well. Service was really slow for us so we waited a while for the food and for the check. Nonetheless would recommend for a solid pub meal
