The restaurant is in the gorgeous Mandarin Oriental Hotel and overlooks Hyde Park, so vibe is already 10/10 even just at the entrance. The tasting menu was quite creative. The highlight was the chicken liver mousse that looked like a mandarin, which probably pays homage to the hosting hotel. The tipsy cake was another amazing treat. Wine list is superb. They do serve the exquisite and expensive wines by the glass aka Dom, D'yquem, etc. Service is top notch. They offer 3 levels of explanation for the food from just letting you figure out the food yourself to giving all details including history of the dish.

I do love a good Michelin tasting menu with wine paring. This is one of the best. Great environment. Friendly staff. Awesome food (including a vegetarian guest). Wines complemented food. Just a fantastic dining experience. Thank you.

This place is a total joke. Please take a time to read how people complain about the staff and their attitude before reading my experience. Every time I walk in they say the place is fully booked and no one is even nearly there, maybe because they’re incompetent to serve certain number of customers or to show people that the place is exclusive which is for sure not the case.

However, they demonstrate unprofessionalism in all aspects the staff is the worst staff I have ever seen with the worst attitude you can imagine, the staff should be humbled they think they own the customers and they feel entitled :)

I believe they are French so go figure, not to mention the uncomfortable seating and the bad smell in the restaurant

I think they should be downgraded to a lower category and their license should be taken!

Delicious food experience!

It was a lovely dining journey in the private room, taking us through the ages and a story with each dish.

The dishes were very well put together and each one was delicious.

Overall the experience was very enjoyable and worth the wait.

Compared to restaurants of the same level. There is no significant difference, or in a clear sense, it is not special, but it is worth a try. The burger was delicious, as were the potatoes. For anyone who wants to eat, come during lunch, no reservation is required, and it is also quiet.

Went for dinner with my boyfriend as a treat, this is not something we have done before.

Form the service to the food and drinks, everything was incredible. They have a cocktail menu, however you can order any cocktail you wish and they will make it. We ordered the fillet steak with chips and a side of truffle mash potatoes (it's pricey but worth it). Hands down the best steak I've ever had. To finish off we shared a tipsy cake, which was so light and delicious. I cannot fault a single thing.
Truly a fantastic start to our weekend away.

Really just sublime. Exceptional food and service (it's great hearing all the backstory to the different courses from the staff). While it's obviously not cheap, the set lunch is a bit of a bargain if you want to experience the full fine dining experience without the usual price tag.

This place is perfect for a night out with great scenery and fantastic ambience! The nibbles are so delicious, and the cocktails are over the top!

A friend recommended this place for our wedding anniversary dinner and it was the best.
We got the corner winter igloo so had full privacy for a hassle-free intimate celebration. We had a good chat with the host. She was lovely and looked after us very well. Our waitress was lovely too. Service was attentive.
The food was exceptional. Especially the cod, we both loved it.
There's a minimum spend for the winter igloo, so it's recommended to book for group dinner unless you are happy to spend for special occasions!
Highly recommend celebrating special occasions for a good view, and intimacy.

We had a private dinner downstairs last night and the service was fabulous. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating with our seating arrangements. Toni was our server and she was fantastic. Lovely personality and so helpful. She made our dinner very fun! The steak was fantastic and the waygu dumpling and duck salad were amazing. Highly recommend.

Welcoming and friendly service. Great choice of schnitzel and lunch time specials. Ask for boxes to go as you won't finish these, they are big portions! The slaw salad was delicious as well. Didn't drink but different lagers on tap to other places.

Fantastic Bottomless Brunch, due to the low demand of early seating the buffet wasn't there however you could order from the table, delicious food with prompt and professional service.Smoked salmon, trufle chicken, charcuterie, pancakes, waffels and much more...flying sparkling wine to finish espresso martini! My partner bought me a Theatre experience including dinner for 2 at The Delaunay. We are Vegans, so we emailed & called in advance to confirm that would be ok. On arrival, we were offered the regular menu / Gluten Free menu (they also have a specific children’s menu) - but no Vegan menu. We were offered a “chopped salad & 1 main”. Honestly my heart sank. Our Server “Ged” saw how disheartened we were. So he spoke with the chef who agreed they need to create more Vegan options. They created us 2 starters, 2 mains & 2 desserts - which were AMAZING. And they said they would be discussing a Vegan menu for ‘environmentally conscious consumers’.
100% saved by Ged - he was kind, understanding, took time to help & entirely saved our experience. Thank you. 🙏

My friend and I visited this establishment on the 24th of February, from the moment we stepped in the front doors downstairs, we felt a warm presence, the door man walked us to the lift and took us upstairs. The receptionist welcomed us with a radiant smile and the bar staff were polite. The outside igloos were beautiful, and the weather just topped it off! The champagne service was flawless and the female waitress made us smile, constantly. My friend and I intended to stay at the Aviary for 2 hours, however ended up having lunch and dinner, leaving after 9 hours - staff accommodated us without a single problem. The staff are so welcoming and made us feel at home, Calvin was at hand throughout and put our needs at the forefront. Lyston has a contagious energy and made us laugh constantly. Umima was beyond attentive when we needed service, making sure to point us in the right direction and Rafael was just fabulous.
I would recommend this place without a shadow of a doubt. We look forward to experiencing the summer vibe.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this delightful Italian restaurant, and it exceeded all our expectations. We went for lunch and had the fixed price menu. Everything was absolutely delicious.
The reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because the service is a bit slow. We were given a drinks menu when we arrived and then waited 15 mins to order. We then had to ask for the lunch menu when they brought the drinks.

5 of us went here on Wednesdsy 20th March 2024 whilst on our annual Lakes Trip. We usually go here at least once and it didn't disappoint us. We all had different meals. I had Tuna Steak with roasted sweet potato and tender stem Broccoli with Sriracha butter. Absolutely lovely. We all enjoyed the food. Thank you.

Nice atmosphere and great service. I was impressed by the cocktail menu which offered a great choice. The food was ok but overpriced in my opinion as the quality was not great.
The dessert was excellent and so was the service. I would recommend for photo opportunities but not for the quality of food.

Really nice dessert and coffee. Was a surprise when I walked through to the restroom to discover the huge restaurant full of customers 😆... it was so quiet on the café side.
The Coffee & Prune Cake is recommended (it's just a coffee flavoured prune cake though, not coffee and prune cake).

I had this meal in 2019 and it was one of the best restaurants I ate in Europe. Their level of service was able to match the exceptional food. This was a memorable meal.

It was an unbelievable experience. The food, the experience, all the serving options, and the history information all were above amazing. I had a tasting menu but, I asked to change main course from duck to beef and order a different dessert, which the changes were accommodated happily. Every thing was delicious and the flavour were unique and designs were so interesting. One of the must go places for food lovers in London

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had - we’ll be going back every time we visit London! We have dined at many top restaurants around the world including Michelin starred, and Dinner by Heston will be on my shortlist of favourites for three main reasons: 1) A dining experience that builds your appreciation for the food you will eat; 2) Flawless food that will leave you talking about it for days; 3) Impeccable but personable service

At the beginning of the service, the waiter will present you with three cards that let you decide what kind of experience you want - we chose the “Maverick” which meant our waiters shared lots of detail around how the dish originated, the history and the preparation + effort behind the food in front of you. You can see how passionate the staff are and it’s easy to see why.

The food was flawless and flavours perfectly balanced - I couldn’t pick a favourite from what we ordered (everything was fantastic!) but if you’re dining a la carte then you can’t go wrong with the meat fruit to start your Heston experience. After hearing the waiter explain the history, thinking and effort that went behind the dish, you immediately build a greater appreciation of the food you’re eating. I wish more fine dining restaurants gave us this glimpse into the thinking of the chefs behind the scenes. In addition, I was dining with my mum who wanted her duck to be more medium than the recommended medium rare. At a normal restaurant, this usually means we are presented with a duck that is so overcooked, however the chefs cooked it perfectly medium and she’s still raving about it days later.

Lastly, a big thank you to Alberto, Emmanuel and George who made our dining experience so enjoyable, personable and fun. You made it an amazing experience, an 11/10. We will be back soon!

Dirty fries were incredibly good. My seafood pizza was one of the best I've had. Homemade, hand rolled base. Everything about the ingredients oozed quality. It was our second visit but not our last. First class place.

Had a fabulous evening, last night, with one of our biggest clients. They were VERY happy. Loved the food, the wine, the service and the view.

It's definitely not cheap, but it is worth the money in my opinion.

I'll definitely be back both pa and with clients.

Mixed review which was rescued by Elizabeth, waitress and the Operations manager, Matt.

Service started off quite poorly when we met the front of house reception team, whom were disgruntled in particular the young woman with black hair, receptionist 1 whom was not happy carrying the bags back to the cloakroom.

When Sat at the round table - it was very rocky and unstable, any pressure on the side of the table had a risk of causing damage and unsettling comfort for others eating food. We raised that to the other receptionist whom seated us whom she mentioned she will get it addressed and she did not return to support.

We escalated this again with another lead whom was wearing a blue suit and he just said “we can’t do anything” and was quite rude, therefore us to deal with it as he didn’t care, was quite surprised on such service.

As he walked off and didn’t address the corners, the other guests were getting quite unhappy about lack of attention on the table, whereby we raised escalation again and fortunately operations manager, Matt intervened professionally and offered a few options, eventually offering a suitable table allocated for us.

Service continued whereby we met an exceptional world class service by Elizabeth, whom was articulate, passionate and knowledgeable of the steak. Her excellent customer service reminded me of the world class experience I would receive in top restaurants in Dubai and Los Angeles.

The starters and steak were superb, however the dessert was underwhelming. Nevertheless we admired the effort by Elizabeth to maintain a top quality service.

Unfortunately the night ended poorly when a few guests raised questions on a few ingredients out of interest on the dessert, whereby the original receptionist 1 rolled her eyes and raised an eyebrow when overhearing.

The team felt a bit intimidated by some of the staff such as the receptionists, for example one guest went to the male bathroom but was asked to leave by a blonde pregnant receptionist because she had to clean the sink. Many of our guests didn’t feel comfortable by a lot of the staff members excluding Matt and Elizabeth.

This was personified at the end when the receptionists were reluctant to bring our bags in particularly waiting to leave at the lobby, with a sarcastic grin. I am shocked and disappointed by the customer service, some guests felt disgusted as one had a previous incident of a receptionist called Elina telling to call the restaurant after lunch service because she’s busy.

Despite the food best mostly great and supported by the likes of Matt, Elizabeth and Daniel (reception manager), the front office staff were very unprofessional and didn’t care about customer service, therefore I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

I went yesterday to the restaurant recommended by a friend, and I had the best experience ever and a delightful service from the Bartender, Jhon and Waiter, Darios. They were very attentive and friendly. Whereby, I felt comfortable and relaxed after a long day.
I recommend this place for cocktails and food.
I will be coming back next time!

I really enjoyed all the pasta dishes at this restaurant, and the location and atmosphere were great too. However, the service was a bit slow, but I think it might be due to their system in place.

We visited by chance on my father's 79th birthday on a Sunday lunchtime in February and we stopped into the bar for a coffee and impromptu cocktail! It was wonderful to explore the rooftop and its views and we had nearly the whole place to ourselves to explore.
The bar staff were wonderful and took great care of my dad who has a slight disability, they made his visit feel extra special on his birthday. They made custom cocktails for us and gave us a really good start to my dads day. Liston in particular, who hosted us in the bar, deserves special mention as he very patient and understanding with my Dad really went the extra mile for us. Much appreciated we'll be back!

Food & service all are good except the area is very small and you will feel like you are eating with other neighbor table.

I had pretty unreasonable expectations of this restaurant. I have an emotional connection to schnitzel and I was expecting this restaurant to exceed those needs.

And it did massively.

I can't find the words to describe it... food, service, price and ambience were all on point, sauces in particular blew my mind, and the chips and beer knocked over any possible chance of disappointment with ease.

10/10 all day long, and it does so effortlessly.

Very stylish, reception staff very welcoming. Steak done perfectly with the right amount of seasoning, but..salt they use for cooking is table salt. The waiter told us it would be a waste to use flaky sea salt. Waste on customers? Cocktails were tasty and powerful.

We celebrated my birthday in the winter igloos at the rooftop bar, and it was amazing! The cozy atmosphere, breathtaking view, and really nice service, especially from Andrea and Zuleia, made it the perfect spot for a memorable evening. Don't miss out !

Food is amazing, try the pizza (any pizza will make your day) main course, pastas and risotto,,, top! If you are not sure, ask Costa,,, you will definitely get the right choice,,, thank you Costa and the rest of the crew for the hospitality!

We had a wonderful experience at Schnitzel Heaven. We had Hoxton Schnitzel which was delicious, great quality of meat and generous portions. Waldorf salad was crispy and fresh. The only weak point was the garlic sauce that was bland, tasted like mayonnaise with a hint of garlic. Service was outstanding, all our requests were fulfilled. This place is really friendly to children. I will recommend this place to my friends and I'm sure I will come back!

Nice place with tasty food but very classy/traditional. Staff very attentive and professional we had a great service there. The menu is a bit boring or the food could be made in a modern way. 10 out of 10 in any single sense. The food is amazing. Spoiler alert: portions are really big! We went for the house specials.
I tried a wiener and my girlfriend a napolitana. Both were amazingly good and came with two sauces each. The place is warm and cozy, the service fast and the staff friendly. A place I’ll come back many times.

This was my third visit to The Delaunay and it remains absolutely outstanding.

Two of us had the chicken schnitzel with lingonberry compote and a side of fries, which were excellent, while my mum thoroughly enjoyed the wild mushroom stroganoff with herb-buttered spätzle. We did also order the broccoli side dish, which was a bit underwhelming and didn't feel worth the price at all.

For dessert, we ordered the Kaiserschmarrn and apple strudel to share, and staff wonderfully brought out a slice of Sachertorte with a Happy Birthday slice of marzipan for my mum, which was a lovely touch and most appreciated. The trio of desserts were all *extremely* rich!

Service was outstanding (apologies as I didn't get the name of the team who served us) and we'll definitely be back.

Amazing service, food was great. The music was a bit too loud for my personal preference but otherwise the atmosphere was very nice. I ordered the shio koji-marinated chicken, Hispi cabbage and the miso mushrooms and they were all delicious.

We enjoyed diner here, the food was great, a small menu, but absolutely worth it. We ordered tapas to start and, apparently the best on the menu, the burger. They didn't lie! It was great. People were very nice and professional. When in the neighborhood, I recommend to go there (reservation might be wise 😎)

It’s freezing out there lately but don’t you worry! These luxurious igloos are designed to keep you snug and comfortable. Each one is equipped with plush blankets, heaters, and soft seating to ensure you stay warm while you enjoy the light projections reminiscent of the Northern Lights and the frosty panorama outside.

We spent Christmas Eve at the Aviary Rooftop Restaurant. Although we had a table reserved we had to wait almost half an hour to be seated. The table was directly opposite of the kitchen entrance and on the way to the loo. The lights wer bright and extremely annoying. The staff was clearly overwhelmed and overworked. The food was average and very pricey. As we wanted to take a look at the rooftop terrace, it was already closed. All in all the visit was a disappointment for us.

Ein wunderschönes Lokal, mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick. Das City Social ist ein gehobenes Restaurant, was man direkt vermittelt bekommt. Sehr klassisch, gestaltete Räumlichkeit, mit vielen kleinen Sitzmöglichkeiten, welche alle von einander separiert sind. So kann man den ganzen Abend schön für sich alleine sein.
Die Kellner sind sehr zuvorkommend, allerdings mussten wir des Öfteren nach der Cocktail Karte fragen, eh diese gebracht wurde.
Auch wurde leider eines unserer bestellten Getränke vergessen.
Dennoch muss man sagen das wir für einen besonderen Anlass im City Social zu Gast waren. Und es wurde sich sehr Mühe gegeben den Abend herzlichst zu gestalten.
Das Essen war hervorragend. Hier machte sich die Küche mit Michelin Sterne-Koch bezahlt. Überschaubare Karte, mit Auswahl zwischen vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten.
Bis auf die Kleinigkeiten beim Service, war es ein sehr gelungener Abend.

die aussicht von da oben ist atemberaubend. der eingang über die seitengasse ist etwas trickreich. aber einmal angekommen fühlt man sich wohl. das lokal leistet man sich einmal - entsprechend ist auch die kundschaft sehr touristisch, zumindest an diesem abend. solides handwerk in der küche und professionelle bedienung. der tart de pomme für zwei personen ist hammer und reicht für 4 personen.

Perfekter Abend. Leckeres Essen, super Drinks und hervorragender Service. Toilette hätte sauberer sein können.

Das Michelin-Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert. Dinner und Service waren absolut hervorragend. Mehr geht wirklich nicht. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. Besonders der Ausblick über die City bei Nacht war toll. Klare Empfehlung für die Gourmetküche.

Atmosphäre, Essen, Getränke und Service hervorragend. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt und den Abend sehr genossen. Das Essen schmeckt total lecker und es gibt viele glutenfreie Gerichte und sogar glutenfreies Brot. Ich empfehle das City Social gerne weiter :-)
