As someone who has been craving good shawarma, the place ended up disappointing but if you’ve not had shawarma before, this is a good place to try out an alternative to Middle Eastern food. I’m indian and know when pickles are great taste enhancers and when it is a gimmick 😳

I was pleasantly surprised with the use of Indian pickles to tahini, hummus and offering shawarma without the grill or char . But in the end the surprise died down after the 1st two bites and I just missed on the flavour that comes with a good shawarma.

The falafel was too dense and over fried. Too pricey for what is served and would recommend alternatives that are wholesome mid east restaurants.

The beer I had wasnt too bad.
I took a couple of international workmates here as they were craving some British pies and of course this place has a great reputation for them.
Sadly the experience just wasn’t good.
We wanted to order with staff but were just pointed to order at table on app by a very disinterested staff member.
This was awkward for us as the workmates weren’t from U.K. and had to go through registering their company cards.
The pie tasters option had an error but we had to try and grab the disinterested staff members attention who wasn’t helpful or offered suggestions and just said we had 1 left.
We ended ordering individual ones and split them ourselves.
Our starter came with our main meal.
Our desserts we ordered were forgotten about so after a while we had to chase them up. The custard on mines had a skin on it and the ice cream had pretty much fully melted.
We were never asked if we wanted more drinks.
The pies were actually tasty and good.
But the service was awful sadly and overall experience just not great.
It was my first time visiting and I was absolutely blown away by the food. I had the scallops and the teriyaki tofu and it was the best meal out I’ve had in a long time! Their kombucha was the best! The service was incredible- Gui was the best server I’ve ever had, he was so attentive, informative and lovely. Whether you’re visiting bournemouth or you’re a local this is an absolute must to visit!!!

Atmosphere: Buzzing on a Thursday night, appeared to be fully booked

Service: Unbelievably slow unfortunately. We were a group of 8 & had to wait 45 minutes just to order drinks, and then even longer for the meals. Our server didn’t write any orders down, meaning we received the wrong items on multiple occasions, or some items were missed entirely

Food: Wine & cocktails were nice but some of the dishes were average, some portions were small (one large prawn as a starter!), and prices are too high for what you get

Great place to have a drink with your friends, it could do with more sitting space outside, but it is the closeness to other tables, on those very rare British warm days, that make this place special
Lovely little gem of a place. Food was stunning. Went in spontaneously and so glad we did.

Delicious food, shared a range of starters and mains, the menu is short and everything sounded good! Friendly staff. Cocktails are okay.
Corn fritters were ok but on the exxy side for the portion. The halloumi accompanying the fritters was absolutely perfect though. Service was efficient but not particularly warm.
Bravo <3
Super freundliches Personal kombiniert mit fantastischem, authentischem italienischen Essen.
So happy to stumble across this gem yesterday. The food was divine, every mouthful was delicious and the girl that served us was an absolute star. I wish I lived closer to come here more often. Thank you Twelve Eatery for a great experience ☺️
Best night out in saffron Walden and they do a great selection of tasty tapas!

10/10 experience! Under the Stars is a must. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is like no other restaurant in Bristol
Loved our impromptu visit here. Staff were very welcoming and advised on wine menu. Food was top notch as could be expected
Major complain is the 14% service charge on top of already quite expensive food.

Food itself was tasy, however there was much chicken with the French toast and alot of it was just the crispy batter.

Service was good though and nice seating.
I like my meat, so does my mate. So we both were unsure what to expect here today. But what a Fantastic experience we had , food was beautifully presented and the staff are clearly passionate. Extremely tasty food! I honestly didn’t think vegan food could be this GOOD 😊! credit to chef & all staff 👍
Meal was amazing. Suggested wine pairing was perfect. If we're ever back to London we will plan to eat at Vinoteca again. Many thanks to the friendly staff.
The restaurant has a warm and relaxing ambiance, the food is absolutely great and staff is friendly and attentive. First time here and we had a lovely evening.
Recommended by a friend, went here with my partner for dinner. We had an amazing evening, food was delicious, staff is very friendly, attentive, and the overall feeling of this restaurant is very lovely. 10/10 would recommend
Food was tasty just a bit expensive for the amount of food you get. The pork bowl I ordered as well as the salmon poke was quite small in portion size.

Service was good. No complaints there. The atmosphere isn’t anything very special just standard for a restaurant of that variety.
We had a fantastic time. Anna made our stay super special and got us everything we asked for. Just make sure you order the Boerewors in advance. Next time I will call ahead :D

This places serves the best Middle Eastern cuisine in London - my absolute favourite spot!! And the staff are equally wonderful!

What we ordered for 3:

All breads
Braised mushrooms (my absolute favourite!!)
Baba ganoush
Iraqi hummus
Cauliflower shawarma
Lamb Shawarma plate
Since relocating from Chicago to London, we have encountered difficulties in locating a reputable steakhouse. Subsequently, we reached the conclusion that the United Kingdom predominantly favors chicken and lamb as opposed to beef. However, our first assumption was incorrect. This restaurant offers some of the highest quality steak available. As an enthusiast of steak, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered a medium rare fillet and it was cooked flawlessly. Perfect crust on the outside, while the interior is pink, tender, and succulent. The hospitality and warmth of the staff members was exceptional. My daughter experienced a mild cough and was unable to consume any drinks. However, she was provided with a ginger-infused drink, which she thoroughly relished. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
Our food was delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly. We got scallops, ribeye, potatoes, spinach, and sticky toffee pudding. Our steak was very delicious and seasoned well. The sticky toffee pudding was really tasty but we substituted the clotted cream with salted Carmel ice cream which was a match made in heaven.
We came to Hawksmoor to have a proper Sunday Roast as a treat for my friends birthday weekend away, and we were not disappointed. Staff are so lovely, and the surroundings are fab, so lovely and plush but quirky! I had oysters with a pint of Guinness to start as I have never tried them, they were absolutely delicious! And the roast beef with all the trimmings was perfect. A huge fluffy Yorkshire pudding.. the gravy.. the stuffing.. all amazing. I barely had room for (but DID make room for) a divine bread and butter pudding with rum custard. So enjoyable, and felt very special for the birthday celebrations. Thanks so much!
I loved this place. My daughter, who lives in Bristol, booked it for us and we enjoyed some really delicious food, wine, and coffee.
I can't now remember what we ate, shared small plates, but I would go back in a heartbeat.
A brilliant location on a boat, don't worry it doesn't move, looking out over the water. Book you won't regret it.
What an incredible night we had! Our hostess "Manon" was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding cocktails! Thanks to her I had 2 of the best drinks I've had in a while.

The dj was incredible and the ambiance was on another level. Honestly we had the night of our lives! Can't wait to go back

Shocking service. Took over an hour and a half for a salad and a ham and cheese “ciabatta” sandwich, which turned out to be just white cheap bread with a slice ham and a couple tomatoes. Will not be going back. Also the queue was too long to even complain after we had already complained to the waiter who never came back. And it cost £28!!

Nice area, packed walk in restaurant. Food is ok. Hummus was very good, Babaganoush definitely far too much smoke taste, I would not order this one again. Shawarma was oily but very tasty. The Lamb kebab was a bit a surprise, only meat with some fresh herbs ? At that price? Overall food was really ok but not reason for me to come back as nothing special. Very nice and friendly service. Small and packed location.
Fine dining and exquisite menu options. The food was incredible and not a single dish let us down. It's clear that the restaurant takes good care with each dish. The ingredients are fresh and all the flavours are tied together well. As a South African, the food was surprisingly close to the real thing and I really enjoyed the gourmet spin on the traditional dishes. Staff are evidently well trained and were very attentive. The restaurant had a fair number of patrons but was not too busy, leaving a quiet but pleasant atmosphere. Just something to note, I believe that the restaurant is closed on weekends.
We had an excellent brunch with coffee on Sunday (24 March). All was delicious. Dishes are clearly made by a well trained team. I complemented the staff on my way out and was told that the 3 Lantana restaurants are still under the wing of the same family. Lovely.

Great restaurant with amazing atmosphere and ambiance. Food is taken to the next level with incredible flavors. Make sure to try the chicken, tzatziki and hummus.
Starter so hot could hardly eat them. So the scallops had little taste. Steak was excellent. Portion of chips , yip not going to say fries was on the frugal side. Creamed spinach was tasty. No draught ales disappointing for a top restaurant of that size. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding. You cant go wrong. Staff , Patrick in particular was very amiable. Overall is it worth the hype. Not so sure.
Came here as a celebration meal and was not disappointed. Gavin was a great host and waiter. His service was friendly and warm without being over bearing or pushy. He was very well informed, talking us through the menu and also sharing some personal favourites and recommendations. We went for the sharing prime rib and an array of sides. The buttered greens (hispi cabbage) were very tasty and the beef dripping chips were great. I wasn't a fan of the macaroni but it was a personal taste not a poor quality product. And the creamed spinach was a little bit too fine in the cut. However the rib of beef was delicious, cooked as recommended it came out medium and had a fantastic flavour. We shared a sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream ice cream and my partner had a flat white to finish. Both were good. We were intrigued by the salted caramel rolos but were too stuffed to try them. Could not recommend this place highly enough. The atmosphere ticked over without having a buzz or being overly busy but it was after 7.30 on a Thursday evening so I was not surprised.
Great meal, excellent value for money. Will definitely return on our next visit to Bristol from Scotland.
Just had an amazing lunch. Really good food, tasty and worth making a reservation for!
Gorgeous cocktails too!
Always lovely experience here, if you want to order food then I would pre book to make sure you get a table inside. But if you want lovely views, great service and delicious food I would recommend this place. And because it’s on Harbourside there are plenty more places to go if you want to have a try other places too. I have been here multiple times and never been disappointed. The toilets are very easy to find, just keep going straight after the main bar. The staff is. Wry friendly and helpful and if you are looking for un-alcoholic beer they have it too.
A really nice place right at the heart of harbourside. Delocious tapas, good wine, and a cozy atmosphere! Small place, so booking is definitely recommended.

Great staff excellent atmosphere best place in saffron walden
Well done to a involved
Absolutely outstanding lunch - service is notably good, very personable and professional. Food is always brilliant, and in a beautiful setting.

Salmon to start.
Bone-in Rib-eye for main, with all the necessary trimmings.
Sticky Toffee for pud.
Brilliant restaurant! No need to be vegan - you will enjoy the food. Everything we tried was delicious and well presented. The decor is nice. The waiter was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant’s offerings which are all healthy organic… vegan virtues. There are very few vegetarian restaurants of this quality, where being vegetarian is irrelevant. Lifelong vegetarians, keen travellers and have tried hundreds of restaurants in our time. This one is in our top three. World class !
I had lunch with my daughter at Vinoteca Farringdon. I chose the Cauliflower soup with croutons for my starter. The waitress took the knife and fork away when she brought my soup and left the dessert spoon. I requested a soup spoon, so she brought a serving spoon. I explained I wanted a soup spoon, not a serving spoon. It appears they do not have soup spoons. I do not like eating soup with a dessert spoon.
The Cauliflower soup was delicious and filling 😋
The Sea Bass, my daughter, had for main course was well presented.
I also enjoyed the chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert.
Grande location, ottima pedonalizzazione.
Been looking forward to coming to Twelve Eatery on a trip to Bournemouth for a while. My first time at a vegan restaurant and it was amazing. All the food was delicious and to be able to eat anything from the menu was a welcome change. We had the ‘scallops’ oyster mushrooms, raw lasagna, teriyaki tofu, cheesecake and chocolate torte. All were amazing, particularly the lasagna so tasty. Will definitely be back to try more from the menu.

The people who work there are clearly very passionate, so friendly and helpful with menu choices. The decor and music add to the lovely atmosphere.
The whole experience was fantastic. First class service, every dish was perfect and delicious I honestly couldn’t fault it. We had the beef and bacon Yorkshire/ crab toast to start and steaks for mains. Steak was first class cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful and all the sides also. The waiter was excellent and yes it very expensive but it was worth it.
What a fabulous little gem in the middle of a gorgeous market setting.

The food is superb, super tasty and, as fresh as can be. The staff are superb, Katorina who is the manager is a ray of sunshine and so attentive, she is truly a star.

If you’re in the area, swing past and try it for yourself.
Buonissimo fish and chips a Windsor

The cheese was amazing, the wine was great and the ostrich was delicious. The staff were very attentive and I had a great time, but the food was quite expensive and the wine even more so.
Top Restaurant. Freundlich essen sehr empfehlenswert.
I couldn't be more in love with Twelve. I always feel so relaxed there and I can feel the love and passion that goes into the food. It's more than just a resturant!
Dalton & Greg are beautiful people too which makes the experience even more special. I literally don't want to dine anywhere else! 💚
If I could give 5 5 5 I would but I guess Club Carnivore is a ticketed event so I'm slightly bias. If you want a proper S.African event with quality food and quality wine this is the place. I can only hope they give us a discount next time! Lovely guests, amazing food and just everything 100%, if this was available to the average person it would the place to be! It's a tad expensive but worth every penny. Please let us know that Francios will be our host at the next one! We're coming back with the family.
Wonderful experience.

Communicated in advance and asked about dining there with two young children. While they don't have a kids menu, there was no problem sharing meals, which they totally lived up to in our experience there.

My wife had the Sunday roast which she really enjoyed. My son and I enjoyed a really nice steak, while my youngest was very happy with his makeshift sandwich of bread and bacon.

We loved the sticky toffee pudding!

Finally, the service was extremely friendly and welcoming. We would be very happy to come again in the future.

I am so happy that I finally tried this place!! I only eat raw foods (mainly fruit). I had the raw lasagna, and it was quite literally, the very best raw meal that I’ve ever had! So much flavour, it was delicious 🤤. I’m craving more already, so will without a doubt, be going back very soon for more. The whole menu looks lovely though and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. My new favourite place 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽.
Great cocktail bar with some very different cocktails. We really enjoyed our experience and the vibe of the venue overall. Even though we didn't have a reservation we were lucky they were so accommodating since we were staying in the hotel. The staff was very nice and attentive and the music was a great variety that was very enjoyable to listen to while chatting.

Great vibe and lovely staff! Cocktails are all around 15/16 which is standard for London and all food was very reasonably priced around £8 each for such great portions. Went on NYE, it was my friends birthday and they even bought a cake and sang happy birthday for her! Such a lovely place and super relaxed, will def return.

This is exactly the type of neighborhood gem that I would keep going back to, even though this was my first visit and certainly won't be the last!

- Food: bursting of flavors, plenty small plates, vegetarian options on offer; have 2-3 outstanding stables that I would return again and again for :)
- Service: warm and welcoming without over bearing; easy for walk-in on weekday night especially for solo diner
- Vibe: it is all about the vibe, unpretentious, rustic, contextually appropriate background music, effortlessly chill
- Wine/Drinks: full bar with low/no alcohol options. Short and well curated wine list
- Price: very reasonable for the quality and the neighborhood. That makes a return trip easy, ha.

So what did I get and which I will come back for (dined solo):
- Shawarma Cauliflower, dressed in tehina, pomegranate, zhug. Must have!! I have plenty roasted cauliflower in my life now at various middle eastern / mediterranean restaurants including some with Michelin star fame. However, the one at Shawarma Bar has to be one of the top 3 for what I can remember!!

- Iraqi hummus, aubergine, hard-boiled egg & s’chug. I opted for this one rather my usual benchmark dish - baba ganoush. It was oh-so creamy, nutty with hint of spice; the decorating zhug and pickles helped lighten up the dish and add contrasting textures. It was rich and came with a pillowy, warm pita that I didn't touch at all :) Barely finished 1/3. Probably better for share.

One pet pee: I love aubergine but the one slice accompanied the hummus was oddly out of the place - a bit dried / bland, didn't add to the flavor or the texture.

- Braised mushroom, sweet potato and spiced tomato sauce. Prob my least favorite tonight, a tad too sweet, starchy than my liking. Or maybe just didn't go well with the other plates I got, both of which were quite earth and scrumptious.

Also a note, the starter here are not exactly tapa size. For one, I ordered 2 starters and 1 size; finished half and boxed the rest home :) Lunch is solved.

Will be back and try more soon!
Delectable menu full of fun and exciting cocktail choices!

Mood lighting for those who don't need to be seen, but a seating plan that invites groups to be gazed upon.

Quality service from the moment you arrive. Not a lot more you can ask for!
This is a very good cocktail bar with amazing cocktails. Great service, everyone was very attentive. From the management (cleverson) to the waiter (Esteban) all very professional and friendly. Good place to go with friends or for a date. Cocktails taste very good. Definitely will come back again.
If you like steak, wine and cheese, this is the place to go. The menu is TASTY, and the staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Love this place!!
The service was very friendly and efficient. The ambiance was perfect as was the decor. There were four of us eating and the food was absolutely delicious! Very good value for money and a really pleasant lunchtime. You can tell the people who work here are passionate about what they do as well. We will be back! :)

A sophisticated, stylish lounge with solid cocktails some of the best bar snacks I've ever had.

Yes, it's another one of those "secret" bars. (It's not a secret, really. The doorman asks you straight up if you're looking for Blind Spot.) If you're not sure, just go into the hotel and straight ahead in the alcove with all the bottles on the wall, there will be a really nice doorman. He's super nice, which is so refreshing in a city stuffed full of pretentious, control-freak security guards.

The bar itself is dimly lit. The vibe is very refined and classy yet still casual and relaxed enough that it stays firmly in the unpretentious side of cocktail lounges. There's a mix of clientele from artists, to theatre goers, to finance bros and lawyers, to well-off young millennials. It's not a place for sportswear, raucous hen parties, or a filthy lad's night out. It has standards, especially as it is inside a 5-star luxury hotel. Music is from a live DJ, and when we visited, he was spinning some serious Tulum vibes, which I love. The vibe is A+.

Prices are reasonable, considering the venue and location -- and the proper quality of the drinks. Very well-balanced, and enough punch that you can actually feel the booze after 1 or 2 (rare in London).

The bar snacks were... a revelation? Not sure how else to put it. Maybe we were just starving but they were hands down the most delicious snacks we've ever had at any bar. There were a few weaker ones (the duck confit croquettes come to mind). But the okra is to die for! Chicken bites, frites, sprats... all good.

Service was good, but a little spotty at times. But when they were attentive, they were super helpful finding us the best cocktail for our tastes and providing custom ones as well!

It's definitely a bar to check out if you like legit good drinks and awesome snacks to go along with them. It was such a delightful experience that we strongly considered returning again the next night. We will be back when in town again.
Came here for a work breakfast and it was phenomenal. The menu is incredible, so many good options to choose from, and the food came out quickly. Will definitely be coming back!
It is said that ...."We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”....this holds true for the staff at The Blind Spot.

You can't find better people that make you feel welcome than this fine group of professionals. They are all amazing. Stand outs include the fantastic and beautiful Annalise, the attentive and personable Daniel, the helpful and enthusiastic Esteban, the terrific and wonderful Roxanna & Clavision. The entire staff is a well oiled machine that truly cares about their clients as well as the experience they are responsible for delivering. One of the best groups that I have ever experienced.

By the way the food, drinks and atmosphere are awesome as well.

The next time I'm in town, I will definitely return!
I don't write reviews much, but the bar is getting so low in London that I was very pleasantly surprised by how great Lantana was! We went early (9:30am) on a Saturday, so it was quite quiet but got busier as time went on. The service was great - attentive but not annoying - the food lovely and very filling, and even the toilets were spotless! There's not many places I don't resent for having a service charge over 10% (and it's a pretty eye-watering 14% here) but I'd probably have left that much even if it hadn't been added already.
Yummy food and very nice staff.

We didn’t have a reservation but easily got a table at a bar. The menu has great veggie selection. Reasonably priced & good portions.

Good atmosphere. Would come again.

Netter Pub, sehr freundliches Personal, Klasse Sandwich.

Komme immer wieder gerne.
