Rude and arrogant treatment. Deliberately obstructive. Lost all my parents original documents when they renewed their passports and no apology, ignored my emails over the years. My father has now died and his documents survived from 1939 that they lost. Ashamed to be Polish with how they treat you. Something has to change. Not only that only issued passports for 6 months to pay again. Is this currently the case?

Glorified Canadian embassy that you can never get in touch with anyone. Do yall work? I tried calling a dozen times and can never reach anyone.

The answering machine and automated messages does more work than anyone there.

Wpuszczają do budynku znacznie wcześniej przed umówioną godziną wizyty przez co nie musiałem długo czekać na załatwienie sprawy, wystarczy wydrukować bilecik i poczekać chwilę na swoją kolejkę ale nie trzeba stać w kolejce. Dojazd autem bardzo dobry, w okolicy znajdują się chyba dwa parkingi, ja parkowałem przy chińskiej dzielnicy i jedynie 3 minuty trzeba aby stamtąd dość pieszo do konsulatu.

Just wanted to say this: they were good people and they helped me in all ways I needed it..temporary passport , the lady who was dealing with me was by the book, but she went above and beyond to help me, so yes, it seems this outpost of Canada has not been INFECTED with the disease currently running amok in Ottawa, ie: possession of one's soul by satanic forces!

I waited for one and a half months for the appointment and then waited for the visa for a month and got the visa for six months While they have been giving me a one-year visa for three years lol These people are just wasting time and nothing else My wife is Polish and because of that I apply Poland visa from Polish embassy every time they give me one year visa this time they gave six months visa.Now I can't even apply for a visa in another Schengen country because I have a valid visa now I have to wait another six months 😫 I have a travel history of 10 years in Schengen and they gave me a six-month extended visa. Stay away from this embassy It's so far from Birmingham to London and the passport collection hours are from 9am to 11am, if you're five ten minutes late they won't let you in. 000000000

Everyone working here was very pleasant. From the door man, to the gentleman checking bags, to Sumira who handled our emergency passport applications. All genuinely wanted to help.
We needed emergency passports, arrived before they opened and were done the application within an hour. (Passport pickup later in the day due to opening hours of passport Canada in Canada) We were just shy of the three month passport validity required for travel to the eu. Another Canadian was there for the same and another for a stolen passport.

Cost was 370 CAD. Includes the $70 application fee and the $300 emergency fee. Temporary passport issued same day, with the ten year renewal passport sent to you later.

This place exists to help Canadians abroad, and the team did that for us today. Thank-you.

Update:
Sumira emailed me repeatedly through the day while we waited. Kept us up to date on the progress and let us know at 1:30 that our temporary passports were ready for pickup and that we could book flights.
Exceptional service considering it was my mistake in the first place for not checking on passport requirements.

Almost impossible to book passport appointment online. It's 2024 and their systems are still in 90's

I paid 500 pounds for work permit
everything is done by my employer in Canada I had the acceptance from Canada government
so I applied for visa in London consulate. When I applied and I done my biometric they told me max delay it will be 12 weeks..so I confirmed to my employer that I can start my work after 3 months.....up today no reply, they keep delaying work permit from UK up to 47 weeks now and it could be more....and I don`t know what will happen with my work. They refuse to reply emails. Just every week quick update on website says it could be more waiting....

You can’t reach anyone from Consular Dep. the lady who is answering the general number doesn’t know anything - assume she’s been trained that way, wondering what is her job description. I found the USA Embassy 100 times more efficient and approachable than Canada.

Apparently don’t want to be disturbed by others than Canadian citizen.

Tried every email, phone number I came across online even wrote them on Facebook - SILENCE

Wondering how long does it take for transit visa to be approved.

Overall very arrogant and rude behaviour from CH, avoid them if you can.

I had a fantastic experience at the Polish Consulate in Manchester. The online appointment system made booking easy, and upon arrival, the security team was welcoming. I barely waited five minutes before meeting with the consular officer, who was both professional and helpful in guiding me through the process. While UK prices are naturally higher, I felt the cost was fair. Seeing the Polish flag flying proudly and the modern facility filled me with pride.

My only suggestion for the Foreign Ministry would be to explore online application renewals where possible. I understand the security concerns, but it could further streamline the already excellent service. I wholeheartedly recommend the Polish Consulate in Manchester!

A straightforward and easy appointment with good service. I had a nice gal and was attended to from the time I entered the office. Someone checks your qr code when you arrive, then you get checked in with your passport at reception. You’re then guided to the waiting area where I barely waited a few minutes. In total the appointment took 25 minutes from start to finish. The gal who processed my application was lovely and set the expectations of what was to occur during and after. As long as you properly read the website guidance and upload the correct documents properly — it should be an easy process (for a spouse visa extension). Also make sure to not pay for your appointment on the booking portal, there are free appointments if you click through a few weeks out.

:) surprisingly welcoming, clean, informative and interesting to visit. Free to enter too. Need to pass through security similar to an airport screening to enter. Security staff friendly and helpful with directions and ideas of places to visit. Lockers are available, once you clear security, near the public washrooms, where you can store your backpacks. Lockers require a pound coin or token from the reception desk if you don't have a pound coin to secure the lockers. Coin or token is returned when you finish use of the locker. It is possible to access the viewing gallery to watch parliament business. At the time we made a viewing their was a presentation in the native language of Scotland from the man who made the first complete translation of the bible to native Scottish in 600 years along with other parliament business. Staff and members or parliament were approachable and friendly if you met them in the lobby area. You could also schedule appointments to meet with them at the Parliament building.

Scam service. Reject visas based on lack of evidence that they did not ask for in the application, then don't allow you to appeal decision. Take your money and don't provide a fair service. Definition of a scam. 🖕🖕🖕

Had to deal with their rubbish for years with my wife. My sister in law planned to visit our newborn but was refused because there is no evidence she has family to return to in the Philippines. The application asked for references for us in the UK who will be supporting her financially throughout her visit. My wife has a huge family in the Philippines so we could have provided hundreds of family and friends references from there but this is not a requirement in the visa application!!!

Po zapisaniu na liste oczekujacych ,na drugi dzien dostam wiadomosc o mozliwej wizycie paszportowej juz za tydzien wiec poszlo szybko:))Ambasada I Panie ktore tam pracuja plus ochrona bardzo sympatyczni , mialam wizyte umowiona na godz 9.10 ,ale puszczono nas wczesniej wiec przed 9 juz bylo wszystko zalatwione .Polecam szybko sprawnie a przedewszystkim obsluga bardzo mila I pomocna .

Tried ringing on Friday afternoon to the Social Care and all I got was an automated message stating 'All our offices are now closed'. Someone has tried ringing me from the Social Care but I was out. On ringing the number it stated that it was not accepting incoming calls and stated that if they need me they will call back and then the line hung up. Very difficult to get through to a person.

One star is fair for the recycle bins collection. It seems that they have no influence on crew of collection truck.
The crew is too lazy to empty bins left next to front doors. Have reported that issue several times but nothing has changed.

I was applying for visa. Came 30 min early, but was allowed to enter and in 30 min after finished application.
Everything was great, the guards on the entrance were welcome and the women accepting application was super helpful.

Don't know the results yet, but the service was good.

با سلام و خسته نباشید خواستم از تجربه خوبی که داشتم عرض کنم. برای ثبت کد رهگیری برای شناسنامه دو فرزندم مشکل داشتم و هر کاری می‌کردم در مرحله آخر پیام مغایرت مدارک با اطلاعات وارد شده میداد. با کنسولگری تماس گرفتم من رو راهنمایی کردن که طرز نوشتن اسمهایی که چند بخشی هست باید دقیقا مطابق شناسنامه نوشته بشه و به فاصله بین آنها دقت بشه. از طرفی هم ویدئوی جدیدی در کانال تلگرام کنسولگری آپلود کردن که به جای شماره شناسنامه بچه عدد صفر و کد ملی هم در محل کد ملی نوشته بشه. به هر حال من کارم رو با موفقیت انجام دادم و خواستم هم تشکر کنم هم به دوستانی که این مشکل رو دارن توضیح بدم.

Właśnie dziś odwiedziłem naszą ambasadę, w celu złożenia wniosku o nowy paszport. Po dotarciu, pół godziny przed wyznaczonym czasem.Zostałem zaproszony przez bardzo sympatycznego jej pracownika do środka. Po krótkiej kontroli , wziąłem bilet z numerem i usiadłem w pobliżu stanowisk odbioru wniosków. Czekałem niecałe 10 min. w kolejce. Cała procedura trwała niespełna 10 min. Młody , sympatyczny człowiek w sposób bardzo profesjonalny, wykonał to co do niego należało , bez żadnych zbędnych pytań. Po wyjściu na zewnątrz, poczułem się jak w ulu. Spora grupa oczekująca w kolejce po odbiór paszportów. Podburzana przez dwie, trzy osoby. Notabene stojące na samym początku. Nie wiem, co kierowało nimi, że postanowili stawić się osobiście? Podczas rozmowy, z paroma z tych osób, dowiedziałem się, że nie mieli pojęcia, o możliwości przesłania paszportu pocztą do właściciela. Wystarczy tylko pobrać odpowiedni kwestionariusz , z internetowej strony ambasady. Poza tym, ambasada przed datą spotkania, sama wysyła zasady i wzory kwestionariuszy do aplikantów. Na marginesie, powodem dłuższego oczekiwania, są niewłaściwie lub wcale niewypełnione wnioski.Tym bardziej, nie rozumiem, tych wszystkich narzekań. Dziękuję za szybką i profesjonalną obsługę i życzę cierpliwości , pozdrawiam 😉👍

If you read the website properly and prepare all documents as they mentioned, it will take you only 5 minutes to hand in your docs. They told me that I will have my new passport in 2 weeks and I received it on the exact day they told me I should expect it.
