I’m glad I came here. They serve authentic Turkish Döner from tasty meat. Don’t confuse it with the Berlin style Döner which most kapsalon places in The Netherlands try to unsuccessfully imitate. The Döner you get here is much tastier and of higher quality. This has its price, but it’s definitely worth it for those who appreciate good authentic food.
For two hours I felt back in Istanbul. Classic, authentic, formal. Good food: the liver was quite tender and Ezme didn't taste like tomato paste (which most Turkish restaurants make it so). Nice customers. Highly recommend.

Поставлю 3 потому что мы заказли еду на 2 людей и стоило дорого и на меню было большое порция и салаты с помидорами и огурцов но когда привезли мясо было не готова и было очень не вкусная салаты 🤢 никаких помидоров и огурцы только листья и Марков ещё тут очень жарко в основном мне вапше не понравилось вкус еды и обслуживания тоже не очень

Ik eet al mijn hele leven in Amsterdam en ik kan met zekerheid stellen dat dit de beste vlees doner is die ooit gegeten heb in Amsterdam. Droog , donker , smaakvol , vetloos en van goede kwaliteit.

We visited the restaurant a week ago and the food was excellent. The owner was very hospitable and the service was impeccable. Many thanks to the owner for the hospitality. We will definitely visit again when we go to Amsterdam.

Last Sunday, my friends and I had a lovely dinner at Levant, a Turkish restaurant situated in a charming classic building with a canal-side terrace. The ambiance of the restaurant was very pleasant.
The food was beyond delicious, and the service was warm and welcoming. We began with a generous Mezze spread accompanied by fresh Turkish bread, followed by flavorful main dishes and indulgent Baklava with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Every dish we tried was exceptional, showcasing authentic flavors. Levant stands out as more than just your typical Turkish kebab restaurant, offering a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of authentic Turkish cuisine.

Our first time in amsterdam, first time trying turkish food, and this place exceeded our expectations. Staff was super friendly, food was delicious, and the waiter offered us tea on the house after telling him we’d never tried it before. Overall, great first meal in amsterdam. 5 stars all around

Recommend that you make a reservation. This place gets busy, because the food is divine. Bread is perfectly cooked and sauces are the perfect compliment. My lamb and eggplant casserole was the best Mediterranean food that I have ever tasted. Service that is attentive and kind.
A good döner stop. Doner is more like the doner in Turkiye not like German style. Delicious food, fast service and gold variety of soups.

We got the cold salad starters, which were good, and ordered the mixed grill and shrimp. The chicken and meat were generally okay, nothing special to be honest. The shrimp was even more underwhelming. I’d say it’s overpriced for the quality you receive. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.
We had a memorable night! We were a group of 8 and and the owner had been very hospitable and generous with us all along. I must say it is not the best Turkish cuisine you will have, but still a good option given European standards.
The food was delicious, but there were some tough pieces of meat that were not cooked well (possibly due to their large size). The restaurant is narrow and the music is loud...but they offer delicious tea for free after the meal...the prices are a bit fo high for 2 persons.
Ik bestel hier sinds de dag dat ze open zijn. Ben zelf een pittig cigkofte liefhebber en heb de smaak op verschillende plaatsen geprobeerd. Deze Cigkoftem springt er wel echt uit ! Heb niks toe te voegen dan 5 sterren. Zag andere reviews over de "sla". Ik ga er van uit dat als je de sla bezorgd krijgt je het dubbel wast ? Een hele gezellige lieve meneer die altijd lekker cigkofte voorbereid en leuke gesprekken voert. Ook vind ik de bezorging altijd snel geregeld. Heerlijk eten ! Zeker 5 sterren waard !
Schön das 5te mal gestern hier gewesen und extra aus Köln hierher gefahren da es uns schmeckt und man Vorort direkt hier parken kann. Preis Leistung ist echt super und das beste ist die meze mit Brot 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

De doner rook en smaakte al slecht, maar ik dacht dat het wel zou meevallen. Uiteindelijk ben ik vergiftigd door de doner en heb ik last gehad van diarree. Ik raad deze eettent absoluut af vanwege het slechte vlees. Goede reviews die hier staan vertrouw ik niet, zijn zeker bekenden van de eigenaar!
Update na reactie van de eigenaar: Ik zie geen reden om terug te keren naar de winkel nadat ik vergiftigd ben. Wat kan er precies worden rechtgezet? Misschien alleen mijn geld teruggeven. Net zoals jouw baas geen tijd heeft voor nepreviews, heb ik ook geen tijd voor neprecensies. Als iets goed is, is het goed, en als het slecht is, is het slecht. Ik ben vergiftigd en daar ben ik 100% zeker van. De doner was niet goed. Maar ik weet er wel een melding van te maken bij de NVWA.

2 sene öncesinde sadece çay ve kahve için durduğumuz İstanbul restoranda bugün ailecek yemek için geldik. Hangisinden bahsetsem bilemedim ama mercimek çorbası, köfte ve güveç mükemmeldi. Ayrıca çayları da harika. Özellikle mekanın sahibi ve çalışanları çok ilgili ve güler yüzlüydü. Her şey için çok teşekkür ederiz.
We came twice to get take out lunch at the counter. The food has cozy heartwarming feel to it. It’s also incredibly good value for money. Both warm dishes together with rice and bread are about 20 eur. The staff is always super friendly. We love coming here for lunch and will soon come for dinner.
Had the mix grill, it was filling and amazing for 2 pax! The rice was light and delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy, meats were seasoned to perfection.
Service was great and totally worth the price. They were also so kind and gave us the kunafe on the house. I loved it here!! A definite must try for everyone!

Best köfte in Amsterdam!!! The staff is friendly, the tea is also very nice and you have to try their künefe!! I have tried many in Amsterdam, but this is by far the best one! It’s clean, cozy and never disappoints! Thank you! :)

I enjoyed a nice evening at Levant Restaurant. Upon arrival we asked if we had a reservation, we didn't so we were taken to a downstairs area with a beautiful view of the canals. The mezzes were excellent and the main course was superb. I had lamb cutlets and they were perfect, nice and tender. We did not have desert but I'm sure it would have been fantastic.
Exceptional from start to finish. The service was top notch from the most friendly and welcoming staff, very attentive but not over bearing. They even brought some extras when we’d finished each course.
The food was incredible. My girlfriend has had a lot of traditional Turkish food from Turkey and said it was the best she’d had. I enjoyed every mouth full and can’t wait to go back. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone and skewers.

Our group (8 people) enjoyed the dinner here a lot. Everyone could find at least 2 dishes they could really enjoy. We liked the combination of starters a lot. Meats were properly spiced and cooked, portions were generous. Also, we got a complementary chocolate mousse in the end which was delicious. The only food improvement I could find is the side-dish rice. I feel like something was wrong with it, but can say what exactly (maybe overcooked?), but it didn’t taste like regular rice.
We also enjoyed the interior and design. Service was charming:)

Very busy restaurant with amazing food and mediterranean vibe. Free bread served once we seated. We ordered hummus and shrimp as appetizers, both are very delicious. The shrimp is cooked with tomato sauce, paprika and cheese. For main course we ordered salmon salad and grill chicken, the portion is good and taste is even better. Definitely will come back again.

If i was able to give more than 5 stars to the service, I would have…We recently dined at Levant and it deserves 5 stars for sure. We starting with three “meze”, which were Muhammara, grilled Octopus and purslane with yogurt. Then for main dish we ordered “kuzu tandir” and duck meat, which were culinary delights! The service was amazing since everyone who works there is welcoming and tries to give you the best experience! I’d say the hospitality was top-notch. While the restaurant leans towards the pricier side, it was worth it! Definitely a must-try Turkish restaurant for those seeking a true Turkish (not only doner) culinary experience.

Their Turkish tea and rice pudding is nice to have after meals. Tried their showarma and wraps with fries which was fresh and tasty.

great! really tasty. enjoyed the salad with pomegranate dressing. tasty cig kufte. mainly lamb meat one chicken skewer all really good. coming back on Thursday for lamb liver. thank you very much

Also ich bin mit 2 Kollegen dort gewesen und uns wurde gesagt wir sollen uns einfach hinsetzen und er komme gleich ( Randinfo: Es saßen dort schon ein paar leute aber so gut wie alle hatten ihr essen )

Back in the days I would always come in before my exams to treat myself on a solid meal. And sometimes even study here in the family room. Prices are good and trust me, the food is incredible.

Food was decent. Had the lentil soup - 6 euros, lamb wrap - 11 euros, and a 4.6 ounce cold tea - 3 euros. The lamb wrap was basically just the meat and a small salad on the side. The ice tea was the smallest I’ve ever seen and for 3 euros was overpriced. Soup was ok and came with bread. Service was so so. Don’t think I’ll be returning.

Outstanding!! The best meal we had in Amsterdam. The staff were friendly and attentive. And the food was spectacular. Chicken Kabobs and the spiced (beef) meatballs both came with deliciously seasoned rice and a salad with a sweet and tangy dressing. Delicious!!!
Mr. Atilla and the waiters are very sincere, friendly and understanding. The doner kebab is made of real meat, not minced meat. I ordered a plate and I liked it. The children ordered wraps and they liked them very much. There are also soup options. You can also drink tea after your meal. beautiful place.
I do not recommend it. If you are not Turkish, you will not be welcome. When the waiter realized that we were speaking Kurdish, he stood up, threw the menu on the table, took our order late and brought our food late, so I won't go for the second time.

The price is a little above but for the taste of the food I would say it's worth it. The staff are very friendly. The restaurant is clean and quiet. I would recommend it. There are many restaurants but others may be cheaper but no good taste.

مطعم ليس له علاقة بالطعام التركي الا اسمه، المطعم كان اقل من المتوسط ، الشوربة والسلطة هما ما كانا جيدين ، طلبت كباب، كان واضح انه مجمد ويتم تسخينه فقط للتقديم، به الكثير من البهارات للتغطية علي طعمه ورائحته، طلبنا كالماري ، كان عبارة عن عجينة مقلية أيضاً محضرة مسبقاً ويتم تسخينها، طلبنا حمص ليتبين من لونه وطعمه انه من المعلبات الجاهزة ، لا يستحق الزيارة مجدداً

Hygiëne is hier geen ding. Het sla zat onder de luizen. Ben er ook van bewust dat dit vers sla is en dat wanneer dit gewassen wordt het mogelijk niet goed van binnen alle beestjes verwijdert. Maar dit was niet het geval in deze situatie. In de eerste bladeren bevonden zich al slaluizen. Kan met zekerheid zeggen dat dit simpelweg ongewassen was. Heb er onopzettelijk waarschijnlijk zelfs een paar gegeten, ben hier namelijk zo ziek van geworden de volgende dag! Toen ik hun hierover had bereikt werd ik direct al vuil behandeld. Inplaats van een excuus aan te bieden werd er nauwelijks tegen mij geschreeuwd. De zorg leek hierin dan ook meer te zijn in het feit dat ik een review had geplaatst. Kortom mis jij wat vriendjes in je buik en houdt jij ervan om onrechtvaardig behandelt te worden? Dan is dit de plaats;)

Vroeger kwamen we hier vaak naartoe omdat het lekker, gezond en prijskwalitatief was. Sinds hun vakantie voorbij is hebben ze de prijzen opgedreven met 30%! Een miezerig wrapje kost in plaats van €3,5 ineens €5. Bij de Albert Heijn nabij vind je voor deze prijs meer vuls voor je maag. Met deze prijzen zien ze ons niet meer terug, jammer!
Reactie op hun reactie: Met veel onvolwassenheid claimen dat ik misschien al jaren niet bij de AH gegaan ben, je kunt voor €5 een volledig avondmaaltijd (zie de lasagne voor €4) halen of je kunt een volledig brood en beleg voor minder dan jullie aanbieden kopen.
Ik begrijp dat dingen duurder worden. Maar voor een wrap met wat salade, tomaat en augurk + köfte zou je niet meer dan €3,5 kunnen vragen. De ingrediënten die jullie gebruiken zijn niet eens duur. Ik vraag me af wat jullie zelf eerlijk van de prijs vinden. Zouden jullie zoveel betalen voor iets dat je maag niet eens voor de helft opvult?

Das Essen ist ganz okay. Nicht besonders gut, aber auch nicht schlecht. Für den Preis hatte ich etwas mehr erwartet, insb. da man zwar enorm viel Beilage bekommt, aber halb so viel Fleisch wie in vergleichbaren Lokalen die in der Regel auch günstiger sind.
Der Service war nett und gut gemeint, aber mehr leider auch nicht. Allgemein ist es weniger ein „Essen gehen“ und mehr „satt werden“ Erlebnis. Es sieht aus wie ein Restaurant und fühlt sich eher wie ein Imbiss an.
Der Service war nett und gut gemeint, aber mehr leider auch nicht. Allgemein ist es weniger ein „Essen gehen“ und mehr „satt werden“ Erlebnis. Es sieht aus wie ein Restaurant und fühlt sich eher wie ein Imbiss an.
Es gibt Parkplätze vor der Tür und die Preise sind völlig in Ordnung. Der pide hat 10€ gekostet und der Grillteller für eine Person 26€. Cola, Fanta Eistee etc kosten je 2,50€. Der Reis und Adana waren bisschen trocken ansonsten sehr lecker
Er werkte daar een super lieve amca die de cig kofte “met veel liefde” heeft gemaakt voor mij en m’n vriendin. Lekkerste cig koftem tot nu toe + hele vriendelijke amca :)
Français de passage à Amsterdam, nous nous sommes régalés après une longue journée à arpenter les rues de la capitale. Portions généreuses, pain maison, viande de qualité, accueil en toute simplicité et amabilité malgré la barrière de la langue. Je n'avais jamais mangé un si bon kebab ! Excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous en avons profité pour gouter le fameux kapsalon, un incontournable pour les gros mangeurs. L'adresse est dans mes favoris, merci !
Solider Döner. Vielleicht etwas teuer aber man bekommt ein dementsprechend gutes Essen.
Service war super doch essen könnte für den Preis besser werden mit Beilagen dazu vielleicht sonst im allgemeinen ok.

Fleisch - einfach Fleisch - kann ich empfehlen - es schmeckt - Sauber / nett / sehr schnell beim Servieren.

Nicht sein Geld Wert. Haben 69€ bezahlt ohne Beilagen. Fühle mich abgezockt von dem Chef persönlich. Nicht zu empfählen von mir.
Ich habe einen Adana Teller bestellt mit Reis. Der Reis war wie von vor 3 Tagen und Adana Spieß war innen roh. Es hat so ekelig geschmeckt. Ich würde es nicht weiterempfehlen..

Achtung speisen sind nur für ein Spieß! Sehr teuer! + verrechnet auch noch Sachen die man nicht trinkt oder ist keine Empfehlung!
Ich begleite meine Frau nach Roermond Outletcenter, 185 km entfernt, nur um danach bei Istanbul Eethuis essen zu gehen. Wir waren am 18.04.2022 wieder da und war erstaunt über soviel Negative Rezensionen auf Google Maps. Die negativen Rezensionen was die Preise und die Essensqualität angeht, kann ich nicht verstehen. Der Scheibenfleischdöner aus Kalb und Qualität haben nunmal ihren Preis. Zahle in diesem Restaurant lieber etwas mehr und esse gute Qualität, anstatt irgendwelchen gehackten, gemischten Fleischsorten, die nur nach Gewürz schmecken, anstatt Fleisch.

De falafel was erg droog. De saus die erbij kwam had erg weinig smaak en de 'groente' was een halve krop ijsbergsla met koriander en een halve citroen ernaast. Allemaal ongesneden en we moesten het ook zelf wassen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker ich kann nur empfehlen.
Het is heerlijk. En wat ik fijn aan hun bezorging vind, is dat ze altijd mijn opmerking lezen. Ik schrijf meestal erbij dat ze bijvoorbeeld 18uur moeten bezorgen. En dan doen ze het ook daadwerkelijk. Goed service!
Exzellentes Essen! Das beste was ich in einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt gegessen habe! Das beste daran: Kaum Wartezeit am Tisch. Das Essen kommt super schnell und ohne viel unnötigen schnick schnack!
