Brilliant space with some really interesting recreations and replicas. Fun to wander through the streets of the village and see the current excavations. The museum and cafe were excellent and that whole area is gorgeous.

The site was incredible. To be able to walk through a settlement that is almost 2000 years old is quite humbling. The staff were very helpful and the tour guide was full of wonderful information. Definitely recommend adding this place to your bucket list if you are able bodied.

An absolutely must visit. Everyone should come here. The ruins are beautifully excavated and preserved, with plenty of signage, and guided tours provide a wealth of knowledge and perspective. The museum is down a steep hill, so be prepared for a walk back up. It's rammed with artifacts and displays that will take a couple of hours to digest. Check website for when the public volunteer excavations are on, they are more than happy to answer questions. You can get a dual ticket for this site and the Roman Army Museum as well.

Such a cool site and so much history here! You could wander through these ancient foundations for hours. After you’re done, head down a lovely walk towards the museum where they have the Vindolanda tablets slowing ancient text, along with the skeleton of a young child that was buried.

We visited this attraction today, and it really was like stepping back in time. There is so much history here, and the site has done a wonderful job of preserving and displaying what they have found.

It was an absolutely beautiful day to go visit as the weather was gorgeous.

The only thing I would suggest is maybe making the parking a bit closer to the exhibit. It was a bit of a hike for this tired, nearly 60 year old. I'm just saying!!

Other than the parking, I highly recommend this place for everyone.

An amazing site. A real jewel for England. Such a large and interesting place. The tour guides are so knowledgeable and interesting. The museum had so many artifacts and the hot soup in the Cafe was delicious. You can easily spend most of the day here. A must see. Make sure you do a guided tour.

Amazing day out with the kids and very educational, displays laid out to help with ruins of the buildings. The museum is also definitely worth a visit.
