Gem Strathmore Hotel

The room was the size of Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs, we had to walk up five flights of stairs because the elevator was broken. No air conditioning in our room even though it was advertised as having it. The sheets didn't even fit the bed looks like they just said screw it and tried to pull it over. Then when we proceeded to ask for our money back because we booked another hotel they never proceeded to ask us what was wrong our try to rectify the situation and keep our business. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning on coming to London, not sure how this place has a four star review probably because they took photos of the one nice room and tried to advertise all of them as such.

Very impressed with the hotel which is clean and well maintained, rooms were modern, staff were attentive and friendly. Good selection at breakfast, choice of continental and English breakfast.Location is great, 5 minutes walk to the Natural history and science museums. Would happily book again for our next trip.
