Great place to have a nice relaxing lunch. Being able to pick your meat/fish/seafood from the deli itself was fun.

The highlight of my meal was the lemon sole with meunière sauce (the sauce was to die for).

They also have a gourmet grocer section with big selection of cheeses, cold cuts, wine and other pantry items which is worth a visit too!

Has an amazing lunch but did not have the capacity to continue dessert, was that sad part.

Oysters were fresh and fullness with good texture.

Had a wagyu beef done with simplicity but flavour with authenticity nicely done.

Grill fish was alright, more herds can bring the flavour of grill fish.

Grill Brussels was stunning, never had such crispy leaves and sauces was with little sweetness that gives the roasted green a blend of sweetness

Overall great service and excellent quality of food.

If you’re thinking about hitting up Culina Bistro for the first time, let me break it down for you with four golden rules:

1. Don't Go if You’re on a Tight Budget: Seriously, if you’re counting coins, this isn’t the place. Sure, they’ve got a diverse ranging price menu but it’s the fresh gourmet produce that make Culina shine.
2. Lunch Over Dinner!: Culina is the perfect spot for that long, lazy, boozy lunch. There's something magical about those high ceilings, wide windows, whitewashed walls and the lively Saturday lunch crowd. Dinners here are …hmmm..bit too civilised.
3. Ditch the Menu and Go Exploring: The menu is great, but the real treasures are discovered by wandering. I stumbled upon the Gillardeau #2 oysters on ice at the seafood counter the last time—$8.80 each & fresh, salty, and meaty. And because Rushi Sunak and the rest of the Tory muppets had lost the election the week before, I celebrated a chilled Puligny Monrachet from the fridge to pair with them. Just be aware of the $18 corkage fee;
4. Enjoy the Grocery Store Tour: Yes, you can and should wander around their massive grocery store and leave your mates for a bit. Trust me, they won’t miss you! Not one bit, unless the bill was coming! Pick any meat from the butcher or any of the fresh seafood from the ice, and they’ll cook it up just the way you like it. I’m a quality-over-quantity person, so it’s usually lemon sole for me. But if you're feeling generous, or went long Bitcoin in 2014, then go for the Dover sole or Turbot by all means.
Final thoughts.....this is a lunch time place with mates or even with the family. I wouldn’t bring a date here unless it was a weekend brunch.
The service is generally good, though it depends on who you get and how often you show up here. I’m partial to Camille, the lovely Filipina at the front, and Jean Philippe, who greets me with a “Bonjour! Tu vas bien?” or sometimes a silent but approving nod!

Once in a blue moon meal, tbh it's my first time in Dempsey too. Choose your steak in the market and they'll prep for you, similar to the one in Isetan at KL. Both the steak and fish & chips were good, but the price also very nice 😂 For the sides, mushrooms were delish. The spinach we thought it was gonna be the creamy kind but it's more towards the Chinese stir-fried kind which was an odd combination, I don't hate nor like it. Complimentary bread was cold and chewy.

Very nice food , the steak -medium is really tender and crisp on the outside . The oysters are so fresh and velvety smooth. The cook is really detailed and skilful. Bleu cheese is really creamy with that unique earthy taste.

Nice speciality supermarket. Lots of sauces, food products, bread, and great selection of wine. Fresh produce, poultry and seafood also available here. Small flowers section. Great place to stop by to get your ingredients!

I'm definitely no stranger to Culina, a place of premium groceries and delicious wholesome food.

As a premium grocer, the ingredients featured in the bistro are of choice quality. The natural sweetness, umami and aroma, excellent texture of the food speak for themselves. Simply coupled with some condiments, herbs and lemon juice, the food here tastes so wholesome and satisfying. It’s lots of moments of “wow” when I have my first bites of each dish here.

High ceiling, white-washed walls, giant modern geometric hanging lamps, stylish black n white rattan chairs, shelves of wines and groceries and full length windows showing the verdant greenery outside, this place feels like a lush family restaurant located beside a vineyard. It has this hint of elegant undertone that makes great for dates. But it is also one of the best places to have family gatherings. They even have a kids’ menu!

Service here is efficient, helpful and friendly, including the staff manning the fresh produce sections. Especially the staff at the seafood section, who gives good advice on the order of jumbo prawns.

This is definitely a place I recommend to enjoy wholesome food made with choice ingredients and just have a relaxing good time.

The first bite of the Scallops in Half Shell amazes me on how creamy and briny sweet it is. This got to be the creamiest scallops I ever have and I totally love it. The taste is further perked up with exciting flavours of garlic, pistachio, herbs and lemon.

Tender juicy squid squares coated with crispy, super thin batter tastes so good on its own already. It is even better with a dash of spicy espelette pepper, a splash of tangy lemon and a dip of creamy aioli. An absolutely delightful treat.

The oysters here are so fresh and delicious. It tastes amazing with Culina’s specialty sauce and Tetsuya’s sauce.

Plump and succulent, the Jumbo Prawns features that lovely briny sweetness made exciting by the unique pungency of seared garlic cream and fermented chilli plus the tang of lemon.

Thoughts: It is such a joy to enjoy the dishes made with the best ingredients!
