If I could rate Menzies Aviation with zero stars, I would. My recent flight experience from COK to AKL via KUL turned into an absolute nightmare thanks to their abysmal baggage handling. Not one, but two of my bags magically disappeared into thin air upon arrival in Auckland.
Imagine landing in a foreign country during winter with nothing but the clothes on your back. I was left high and dry, forced to shell out money I didn't plan on spending just to survive until Menzies could locate and deliver my belongings. Four days later, and I'm still waiting!
Their customer service is as non-existent as my luggage. Long queues just to fill out a missing baggage form, unresponsive to emails, and they conveniently forget how to pick up a phone call. I've wasted hours of my life chasing after my stuff, making multiple trips to their office in Auckland, only to be fed empty promises about evening deliveries that never materialize.
If you value your sanity and belongings, steer clear of Menzies Aviation. They've perfected the art of incompetence and have no business handling anyone's luggage.

The worst service experience I have ever had. In keeping with all the other reviews. They simply do not care about clearing bags and handing them over to customers in a hurry. They do not seem to have any understanding of the impact of delayed baggage on travelers. It amazes me that the phone simply does not get answered. I tried atleast 80 times! What is the point of having a phone??

If it were possible to give negative stars, this would be the company to give it to. Arrived in Auckland 3 months ago with one bag missing. Was advised a day later that the bag was found. Get to the airport and we are told

Disturbingly bad customer service. Was told my bag would arrive the following day when qantas hadn’t loaded my bag from a connecting flight, bag never arrived and their phone lines don’t work, it’ll just ring 15 times until it beeps. Was given the manager I thinks contact number and she won’t answer either.
Absolutely no communication from anyone and feeling like there’s nothing we can do, I don’t think Menzies had an understanding that luggage is important to people and it can be people’s life belongings, not something small and insignificant.
Auckland airport needs to dissolve this business and form another solution.

I was also going to leave a 1 star because I had similar problems to others where my bags were lost on a connecting flight after traveling from Vietnam to NZ. But they were helpful at the desk. What you need to do is use the airline flight baggage tracing with the reference number given by Menzies and you can check where the baggage is. Once it's found, Menzies do call you and update you, but not before. They will deliver to your address and call you once at your house so you can sign for the bags.

These guys are the worst baggage handlers in the world!! We’ve now waited for over 1.5 hrs for our bags. It’s 1.00am in the morning!! Still no bags & no explanation from the desk.
Qantas, please look at alternatives. We've been to NZ three times in the recent past. On 2x other occasions its been at-least an hour's wait.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Would give zero stars if possible. Have to flying business class and having our bags tagged as priority. One of our bags was the first on the carousel further two bags were the last on the carousel and the fourth was missing altogether and didn’t make the flight from Sydney to Auckland. I was told it would be an on a flight arriving at midnight And would be put on a shuttle and sent down to me the following day. I was also told that I would receive confirmation of this with a tracking number 24 hours later, and there has been no communication and the number I was given to Call cut off after a ringing 15 times . When trying to ring the main reception of Menzies aviation, it goes to an answerphone and I’m pushing any other selection such as cargo they just tell you they can’t help and hang up on. I have never experienced Customer Service of such poor quality in my life, there was a queue of mile long behind me at the baggage counter half of which was made up of people complaining about their bags being damaged through poor baggage handling an investigation of this company needs to go ahead by Auckland airport
