This museum has some exceptional pieces of computing history. The admission charge is very reasonable and the staff are all very passionate about the machines on display. We had an excellent tour around the Colossus computer and the oldest digital computer the Witch. Would have spent hours here if we hadn’t also crammed in the Bletchley park next door. Plenty of entertainment for the kids as well with the 1980’s retro area.
Wonderful experience back in time when computing began. Impressive museum, very friendly and passionate stuff. We played a great escape room game and learnt more about the development of the museum. If you want to have a corporate meeting, function, or team play, don't hesitate to go book. If you are also passionate about volunteering and want to support the museum, please express your interest and support the museum and its mission.
Amazing place if you are interested in the Enigma/Bombe or Lorenzo/Colossus as the volunteer guides are very passionate and knowledgeable about the subject and bring it all to life. Plus all the machines are shown in working order.
If you have any interest in computers and technology you will love the museum of all things techy and the retro area where you play some of the old favourites like Atari. Only a small place but with lots packed into it.

Great little museum - we spent a couple of hours here with our 13yo and 10yo. Lots to see and plenty of working exhibits to look at. Some rooms are noisy, but I believe they have ear defenders available to lend for young visitors who might need them. Friendly, helpful volunteers are on hand to chat to you about the various large machines on site. Plenty of hands-on activities and working games computers to try out. Nice little cafe/shop offering sandwiches and drinks and a selection of books and merchandise at the end. It was a highlight of our trip!
Second visit of the year on my ticket. The fantastic thing about this place is that once you buy a ticket it lasts for 12 months. I have to say the resturant is not value for money and you can get a cheaper meal outside and return. The staff and voluteers are amazing and helpful.
Tickets cost around 10 Pounds per person, But you will get 1000 times of super cool experience! The way they are maintaining those large machines and the staff explanation was ultimate!

An absolutely fantastic day, exhibits are top notch covering the entire history of computing from the very beginning of code breaking in WWII
From the reconstructed Colossus to early mainframes and hands on with 80's micros, this has it all.
The staff are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable, cannot recommend a visit highly enough.
