Very slow service, was not told how long the waiting time would be at all. Just got told to put my last name and DOB on a piece of paper. Called an hour in advance - rx seemed to be ready in about 5 mins or so but it was laying on the counter for 25 mins because of a lack of communication between counter and dispensing staff. Counter assistant Elena (I believe) was not empathetic, picking up medications as an unwell person already requires abit more hospitality than normal retail unfortunately. However 2 stars given for the nice dispensing staff in the back who seemed helpful to other patients waiting. Pharmacy was full of people because of the wait times - note for the socially anxious. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but this was my first encounter and having worked in a pharmacy before I know this is not how the service should be carried out. I understand that vaccines were being done and so this is why the pharmacy was busy but in reality this shouldn’t stop those prescriptions that were checked by the pharmacist already from being given out. Hopefully the manager can implement a more efficient strategy with a more patient centred approach in the future.
