Lovely restaurant, staff and food! Make sure you reserve a table, otherwise will be hard finding a seat. It’s the perfect place if you want to taste the truly Dutch food, which, by the way, was SO delicious. Photos of mothers are still welcome

I was visiting amsterdam with my sister and we met an old friend here who is from the netherlands. He recommended this place. We shared a few traditional dutch food. I loved everything we tasted. My least favorite was the hotchpotch due to the strong taste of vinegar. But all in all, greast taste! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The restaurant is very authentic and beautiful inside. Pictures all over the wall. I would eat there again.

I love this place. Apparently Moeders means mother in Dutch. There’s countless picture of mothers all over the walls of the restaurant. You could even bring photos of your mother or your own photos to display in the shop.

I didn’t manage to make a reservation so I arrive at 5pm sharp (their opening hour) and it was already half full with people. 5 minutes later, there were no more indoor seating. If you really want to try out this place, make a reservation! If not, try your luck by going there at 5pm sharp.

Food was great, authentic Dutch food. Price was reasonable as well. Lobster soup is a must to order here, so tasty!

Lovely place with a good vibe. Dutch traditional food is by no means exciting and it's salty (or at least it was here). Dutch food isn't the most exciting cuisine in the world, but I had been warned by a Dutch friend beforehand. Efficient service and friendly, but maybe a tad too efficient and inexperienced.

Loved this place! I know a lot of the reviews talk about the simplicity of the food, but I enjoyed it even more for that aspect! I had the Hotchpotch and it was perfectly filling and delicious after a long day of travel. The actual restaurant is beautiful to look at with photographs of moms all over the walls. Staff were so lovely too! Will definitely come back

Near Anne Frank Museum. Typical Dutch cuisine. The staff was sooo good that they cooked a special meal for our son. The restaurant looked busy and all the tables were full, however, we had booked a reservation so it wasn’t difficult to get a table. We ordered the Stamppot with onion & carrot & Hotchpotch. The restaurant owner even gave our son a small gift and booked a taxi for us to the hotel that we are staying.
Now coming to the food, they use a lot of potatoes, I guess that’s a typical Dutch staple. The sausage and meat ball were really good. Personally, didn’t find the meal very exciting for the price. Then again I was not a fan of the Dutch cuisine, so cant really comment on the food.

We had a memorable dinner at Moeders which means "Mothers" in Dutch, a restaurant uniquely decorated with pictures of mothers. The ambiance was outstanding, adding a special touch to our experience. The food was excellent, with the lobster soup being particularly great and the ricedish, a top-notch recommendation for a true Dutch cuisine experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful and unforgettable dining experience.
