Servers are nice and welcoming, the place is really warm and humid thanks to the weather but you totally feel local vibe. The soup was good, not too peppery and not too herbally, just nice and balanced. The sesame oil chicken was also flavourful. I enjoyed it overall
It’s been a while since I last eaten here. The standard is still there. I love the sesame chicken and BKT which we can add on many side ingredients. The tau Pok is also highly recommended will definitely drop by again for my next visit.
Love their sesame chicken that is veru shiok. The bkt was also good. It is not those peppery one but more of herbal. However it is not overly herbal and the soup is tasty! Simply shiok. We had the ribs bkh for 3 pax tat is at 60rm. Reasonable price.. the salted veg is very shiok man! Not overly salty and the pork lard was shiok man!
Below average and really not worth the money. Will not be coming back.

A neighbourhood coffeeshop selling bak kut teh and tasty sesame claypot chicken. Taste of Bak Kut a bit too light, will prefer stronger herbal taste.

Seems like the sesame oil chicken is better than the bak kut teh. The bak kut teh does not have any herbal taste and is more like a regular 炖汤. However it is still decent to have on a rainy day. Everything is just slightly above average which is about 7/10. Do try if you have not.
This is one eating place that my family will frequent if we are near KSL. The BKT had a light herbal taste and the braised pork were good as usual. This round what wow me was salted veg which has tingle of sweetness (not in the last round I tasted it many years ago). The yutao were must have to soaked up the bkt soup.
For those who eat innards, those they served us were pretty well cleaned. Doesn't have the weird taste.
