This is an excellent free museum dedicated to life in east Berlin. Worth the trip up. Happily spent a couple of hours here. Would recommend over the DDR museum. Pick up the audio tour tour to fully get value from the exhibition. If you have a phone and earphones you can do it over their free WiFi.
DDR museum with free entrance. Intresting daily life objects, scenes, photos and intallations. You feel a bit lost while visiting, would have been more Info about the routes.
Most of the displays include English explanations. A lot of short videos with English subtitles explaining what daily life was like in Russian controlled Germany. A very nice museum that will only take you about an hour to see everything.
A nice little museum with interesting insight into life in the GDR.
Just a few rooms, however with good exhibits, that you can cover in less than an hour. Not overwhelming and for free!
