Be prepared for a long dinner. It’s a 4 hour experience.
Staff was extremely friendly and professional
Food quality was great, the food taste was good, but in their quest for expansion, felt like they’ve lost the specialness of their food.
Somm was great. Added their own personal anecdotal stories which was quite special.

The only small issue was that during the dinner there was a constant fly I had to shoo away for a couple of hours.

Overall go for a nice meal!
This experience was absolutely exquisite. The fine dining the atmosphere the professionalism. Everything was just so wonderful. When I come back to Paris I'll definitely be coming back to dine here. Thank you so much for this experience ❤️❤️❤️

If you want a true fine dining experience this is it.

Depending on your budget however, another fine dining experience can be found at Le Lobby (my second favorite).
Cuissons parfaites.

Thank you for the experience yesterday night. We had a great night for special occasion thanks to seamless service by Mettis. The desserts are fantastic and it really WOW us! Top 1 dessert in fine dining experience so far. It shows that dessert is not only there to complete the experience, the good one can elevate the whole dining experience to another level. Bravo!

Very lackluster meal and badly needed more salt. Also the wine by the glass options were limited. Go to their wine bar next door instead and skip this place.

Also, seems like a lot of the positive reviews here are for the wine bar, not the full service restaurant.
Very bad food! You pay hundreds of dollars to taste vinegar mixed with lemon in every dish! Everyone at our table had heartburn from such acidic food! Never happened before to any of us! Stay away from this place - Paris has much better high-end restaurants, with delicious food that won't give you heartburn!

Delicious meal! The place is very small inside, which is fine as long as you are not sitting less than a foot away from the loudest person in the room which was, unfortunately, my case, with the table next to ours. Service was friendly and prompt, and we just wished we had bigger stomachs to have tried one of their desserts!

Excellent cooking is an art form, and food here is a faithful expression of fine art. Les Berlingots is amazing, and the canette clocked to perfection. Some wine pairings didn't really work for me but they were all good wines. The only disappointment was my partner's none alcoholic-drinks-pairing with the meal. That didn't work at all and might require a rethink.

This was our first dining experience in Paris and all we can say is wow! Everything we had was superb and the prices are excellent for what you get. We had the cheese platter, sirloin, veal and pavlova for dessert. There is also a fantastic selection of wine to choose from. I'm not kidding you when I say this is one of the best meals we've ever had. Not to mention the staff were very accommodating of English once they heard me struggle through attempting to communicate in French. Just note you will likely want to make a reservation if possible as this is a small place. Only negative is that we would like to come more often but we're on a different continent. Merci Le Maxan!

Our recent stay at La Bristol in Paris was nothing short of spectacular, a testament to luxury and impeccable service. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for what was to be an unforgettable experience. The concierge team, led by the remarkable Jimmy, Fabian, Sarah, and Marie, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. Their recommendations and arrangements for city experiences were perfect, reflecting their deep knowledge of Paris and a genuine desire to cater to our interests and needs.A highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the spa services, where I received the best massage of my life, courtesy of Mathias. His expertise and attention to detail left me feeling rejuvenated and utterly relaxed, a testament to the spa's commitment to excellence.Breakfast at Epicure became our cherished morning ritual, offering a delightful start to our day with its exquisite selection and charming ambiance. Similarly, our dinners at Café Antonia were consistently delicious, featuring a menu of beautifully prepared dishes in a setting that’s both elegant and welcoming. We must give a special mention to our favorite server, Aurelie, whose attentiveness and friendliness made our dining experiences truly memorable. Her ability to anticipate our needs and contribute to the pleasant atmosphere was commendable. Our room was a haven of luxury and comfort, with gorgeous decor and a view that captivated our hearts. The maid service was impeccable, ensuring our space was always clean and inviting, complete with fresh water and beautiful flowers that added a special touch to our stay.In summary, La Bristol in Paris exceeded our expectations at every turn, providing a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. It’s a jewel in the heart of Paris, and we eagerly anticipate our return to what has become our home away from home. PS. Did I mention that Julia Roberts also stays here!!

Anne-Sophie Pic’s La Dame de Pic is what I’d describe as a casual Michelin-starred restaurant. The service is friendly and caring, and the cuisine creative while also proposing some of the Chef’s classics such as the Brie Berlingots. Went there for lunch and wasn’t packed, which created a nice atmosphere to enjoy a great lunch with my sister.
This is my global #1 for a high end course dinner. The food, ambiance and overall luxury of the venue is straight out of Versailles. I would recommend the larger set which will allow you to spend 2-3 hours letting it all sink in. The venue oozes old wealth and class. It’s VERY VERY expensive but worth it for a very special occasion. I was all smiles! See pics for food! Dress up and don’t forget to order a white!

Such a delightful, delicate and tasty diner. Very refined. We had the 7 courses menu and no regrets as my favorite dish was the signature dish « bergamot » a.k.a raviolis. All courses were so good. Up to the Dessert. Great team and service.

My experience here was one heck of a culinary ride!

Stepping into this fancy Michelin-starred spot, I was practically bouncing with excitement, eager to see what this Michelin-starred restaurant had to offer.

Culinary wise – each dish that hit our table was like a work of art, seriously. Chef's veggie creations even managed to impress this die-hard carnivore! It was a ballad of fresh, still exotic flavors that burst senses at each bite.

Service – Just what you can expect from a restaurant from this level. I felt like royalty; super friendly and eager to make sure we had the time of our lives.

Ambiance – Picture this: cozy, romantic vibes with just the right touch of modern flair to keep things interesting. Yellowish' notes, eclectic accents, and pops of class. All of that dancing together.

Long story short, my time at Le Baudelaire was beyond satisfactory. I'd definitely recommend it!

Delicious food, one of our favorite dinners in Paris 💕 staff was very welcoming and we felt at home! Strongly recommend, visited from California!
Amazing wine bar and delicious small plates. The only issue with dining here is that everything else you eat and drink in Paris will be just ok. Scratch kitchen, knowledgeable and friendly staff, small and intimate. There are 3 sections of this restaurant; sit down dining to include outdoor seating, French delicacies, and fish and seafood counter. You will likely be standing up while there due to them taking up the seats as the evening progresses. My favorite place in all of Paris!

Friendly staff. However, it is filled with food that is close to French home cooking and perhaps that is why it is filled with only older locals. It doesn't have a French feel and is not good for the price.
The low down on Le Meurice Alain Ducasse.
1. Amuse bouche didn't start well and we thought : it will get better
2. Fried chicken feet skin was decent
3. That green blob was definitely not nice and I have erased the details from my memory: SOUR.
4. From here on, I knew dinner was a complete fail. The grapefruit granita was extremely bitter and totally unnecessary to pair with fresh oysters
5. Blue lobster was the only decent main but sauce was a fail. Tasteless.
6.This contraption was making the ginger herbal digestive. Entire process was at least 10mins and waited longer for staff to serve it which by then was cold. Staff just didn't get it when I asked why so long to serve it 😣... this is a total fail for ⭐️⭐️
7.Pineapple avacado dessert...what can go wrong with food I like? Everything. No words to describe the weird taste.
8. Lamb with abalone. Another uninspired combo with sourish red wine sauce.
Other dishes could not be included in this post but sourness and bitterness seems to be how chef likes his food. Either that or he had a sour kinda day.

We also stopped taking photos after main dish Lamb failed. The most ridiculous and blasphemous was extremely thinly sliced cheese. It was drying up as we ate!

Another shocker is we found out menu is NOT seasonal! Just shows the laziness of Chef Ducasse.
Lesson from this experience: just stick to 1⭐️
Look carefully at the prices shown on menu. For this price we expected top quality Michelin food .
The location, ambience, quality of the staff, the exceptional dishes being served - it all added up to an unforgettable experience for us. Impeccable!

Service and atmosphere was great. Came on a Sunday evening and it was quite empty.

Coming from Asia, this restaurant was a big miss in terms of flavours - we have higher expectation when it comes to French and Japanese fusion. Very disappointed that while this restaurant is well-marketed and has raved reviews online, the flavours in the dishes while beautifully presented, are sorely lacking and tasted really cheap.

Berlingot’s skin was too hard, and the Brie inside didn’t go well. Oyster had a sauce that I would liken it to Eclipse mint.

Ending sweets with a cola gummy bear with a mint leaf on top😅 Have had gone to many Michelin restaurants and this is really one of the worsts….. with this amount that I’m paying…. I’d rather have duck confits and foie gras at a local bistro.
Favourite hotel in Paris. Incredible service from start to finish. Well appointed rooms - very comfortable - beds are so comfortable it’s hard to wake up each day!
Restaurants are great - Epicure is always a winner and well worth the hype. Also tried 114 which was more informal but the food was interesting and well presented. Breakfast is definitely a highlight - sets you up for a great start to the day - highly recommend

Epicure, a three-star Michelin restaurant in Paris, left me with mixed feelings during my recent visit. While the restaurant boasts an impressive reputation, my experience fell short of expectations.

The ambiance of the hotel did not resonate with my personal preferences, as it lacked the charm and appeal I've found in other fine dining establishments. The overall vibe was not to my liking, and it did not enhance the dining experience as I had hoped.

The waitstaff's behavior was another aspect that left me uneasy. I observed them checking on my friend each time she left a portion unfinished, which felt intrusive and uncomfortable since they kept asking why she did not finish it. This detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal and left a negative impression. Also, one staff was eavesdropping with our conversation and started to join the conversation. They also gave me a juice even though i did not ask for it.

Despite Epicure's claim of being the best restaurant in Paris, I found the dishes to be somewhat repetitive. Having experienced other Michelin-starred establishments that offered more innovative and diverse menus, the culinary offerings at Epicure did not stand out.

In conclusion, while Epicure holds a prestigious Michelin status, my personal experience was disappointing. The ambiance, service, and repetitive nature of the dishes did not align with my expectations, making it difficult to justify the high regard it receives. For those seeking a truly exceptional dining experience in Paris, I would recommend exploring other renowned Michelin-starred restaurants in the city.

We got the tasting menu for dinner. The food started off great, but quickly evolved into a series of plates where the centerpiece was added raw truffle. Though truffles can be amazing, they were not incorporated well into the dish and the server kept giving us attitude. We made one comment at the start asking what the white truffle was (we had never seen a raw white truffle before) and she made fun of us the entire meal. Maybe we shouldn't have asked but she didn't need to be so pretentious. However, that wasn't the worse part. The worse part came when the cheese course came and we asked for recommendations. I had lived in Paris for about 3 months at that point and had tried a bunch of different cheeses (including fancy types). However, I wanted a light-ish finish and asked the server for recommendations. They suggested a cheese that was so strong it made me vomit in the bathroom for 20 minutes after my meal. I felt so bad for the other female guest who walked into the bathroom but the cheese was so overpowering. The meal started off great but took a turn for the worse. It had been years since I've vomited before and I did not enjoy it. I didn't want to mention it but my date told me to just provide some feedback on the cheese so that other guests wouldn't have to experience this in the future too. So we politely provided feedback to the servers about the strong cheese and to not recommend it for the future if guests ask for light cheese since I had vomited after eating it (or to let them know it would be risky). The male server was really understanding and took the feedback but the female server was very rude and basically told us to go and take a cab home and didn't care. When we left, they gave us a bag of bread, which turned out to be harder and more stale than the bread that they served us at the start of the meal. Very disappointing... I no longer trust the Michelin guide anymore. There were so many other restaurants that I tried in Paris that were much better.
This restaurant was just beyond stunning! We ordered the Avocado Toast & a Croissant with an Iced Latte. The food was not great, but not bad. The ambiance & service are really what made this restaurant special.

Beautiful, flavourful food. A taste of Valance is the broad theme with seasonal French cooking and accents of others (for example, a sprinkle of Japanese soba cha plays lightly on one dish I had or a smidgeon of miso on a root vegetable somewhere without distracting from the otherwise very french cooking techniques at play). I went for the 7 course, and while there weren't any pacing issues it can definitely feel long by the end (especially if you ask for a second dessert course like I did), but I'm glad I chose the longer option. Go shorter 5 course menu if you have reasons why you need to be out in 2 hours, my 7+1 course ends up taking about 3 hours. I enjoyed the signatures like the Berlingots (pyramidal shaped dumplings that are flavoured and coloured according to a seasonal ingredient), which was chestnut for my visit, sauced with veloute of meadowsweet and macis (adding truffles here is a smart choice if thats an option). And the white mille feuille, a beautiful pastry to have as a signature, a standout amongst the many puff pastry desserts out there. Mallard pithivier is executed nicely. I would happily do a 3 course meal with bigger portions of the berlingots/pithivier/mille feuille at any time. The emphasis on bringing out the best of vegetables is really nice to see, celebrating parsnips meuniere with perfect texture and little varying dabs of sabayon or smoked white sesame to punch up the flavour. Oh, and possibly one of the best cheese courses I've enjoyed, an aged Comte foam is both intense and light. Wine choices seem good, I'm not a big drinker but I trusted the sommelier and was happy with my glasses. Decor is slick, as is the service. The price is reasonable considering similar restaurants of this type of experience. A great meal, would recommend.
An amazing experience! A magnificent Degustation Menu with Champagne. Every dish was a unique sensorial and flavourful experience perfectly complemented with champagne. The service was outstanding and super nice. The chef was very nice and super talented. Well worth and well deserves the two stars Michelin. I truly recommend this restaurant!
We received the Amex upgrade, a double upgrade as it turns out, and enjoyed the breakfast daily - it was excellent. The room was large including the bathroom and the shower was wonderful. The pillows and towels were exquisite. We walked all over Paris from this home base and found excellent restaurants in the area as well. The nightly gifts are a nice touch, especially the chocolate edible decoration. The service is what made our experience shine, though. From the front desk, to the restaurant staff, the doormen and concierge staff were constantly helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

The food started out amazing. Then all of a sudden it just got terrible.

Food
Duo of tartlettes - Great start to the meal; appetizers were on point and subtle flavors to tickle the tastebuds.

Oyster with kiwi relish -
Refreshing. Salty sweet oyster balanced with macerated kiwi.

Sea bream / beet root / smoked yogurt -
Delight for the senses. Presented on a pillow made of ice, the sea bream was served like sashimi on top of a bed of chopped beetroot swimming in a yogurt and beetroot soup.

Warm mallard and foie gras pâte / bitter salad - The duck and foie gras pâté was deliciously balanced. Chunks of mushroom and duck mixed with the creamy pâté in a crispy crust. The bitter salad of arugula also helps keep it light. Savory without being too heavy.

Sea bass from Opal coast on the griddle / gourd / sea urchin/ lemon - This was okay. A chunk of sea bass paired with sliced squash ribbons and squash sauce. The sea urchin didn’t really add anything other than texture. I didn’t get enough acid in this dish.

Crispy blue lobster / celery / chanterelle mushrooms / bone marrow / lovage - Amazing; herby chanterelle mushroom sauce added depth of flavor and the crispy chips placed on top of the lobster was an amazing textural contrast. Both elements enhanced the lobster meat.

Clam with horned melon - This is where the meal started falling apart.
They show a display of large clams and horned melon.
They then present everyone at our table with the tiniest single clam. It pretty much had no taste and just chewing on the tiniest morsel of clam meat and some seeds of the melon. There was no flavor from the clam, and no discernible sourness or sweetness.

Boiled chicken with riced cauliflower and black garlic sauce - One of the worst things I have ever eaten. Chicken was dry. Black garlic sauce was bitter and tasted disgusting. I’m not even sure how the cold riced cauliflower was suppose to complement the dish.

Herbal soup - While this was intriguing from an experience sense of bringing a reverse siphon apparatus to the table, the herby mix of lemongrass, rosemary, ginger, and other spices - this tasted like Chinese black chicken medicinal soup.

Cheeses - These were fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Coconut ice cream with shredded coconut and some pepper? - This tasted almost amazing. The coconut ice cream? Yes. The shredded coconut? Yes. The acidic pepper gel drops? Yes. Except they were too sour and blew out my palette.
Conceptually made sense but they needed to temper the sourness on the drops.

Cocoa pod flower - This was delicious. Coffee ice cream inside a solid chocolate shell. Deceptive visual presentation of a giant coffee pod shell surrounded by regular coffee beans was delightful.

Atmosphere
The restaurant is located in the magnificent and palatial architecture of the hotel of the same name, Le Meurice.

The paintings and chandeliers add to the air of expected opulence and accented by glass sculptures to add a modern flair.

Service
First of all, what kind of a Michelin starred restaurant tells you there’s a menu and then says you’re not allowed to choose what items you want? This is atrocious considering how much the cost of the meal is.
Most of the staff was fine, but there were a few that had really poor attitudes. We asked a few of the staff presenting the plates to repeat what they said because they were either too fast, too quiet, or had a really thick French accent. Some of the staff got really annoyed when we asked to repeat because we couldn’t understand them. I don’t think repeating a sentence two or three times with complicated ingredient names is an unreasonable request.

The staff also didn’t check in enough after some plates were presented. We would have sent the chicken dish back but no one came to our table for over 10 minutes and it was getting late. When they finally came to check on us we just wanted them to take the plates and move on.

Inability to choose any plates felt like being held hostage a little bit. Refusal of requests for individual choices is a bit extreme for the restaurant’s price point.
