The service level at this place is 20/10.
I made dinner reservation and pre-ordered a few dishes.
I received call from the reservation staff on the day of the dinner, confirming that reservation, also to inform me of the dishes I reserved could possibly be repetitive in taste as two of the dishes are cooked the same way. Recommend that I cancel one of them. I was very impressed.
During the dinner, the staff are constantly watching out, filling cups when they were empty, clearing the empty plates, helping us take photos.
Set a very high standard for their service.
Their food is delicious. Cook to perfection. We did not taste any excess use of msg as we were not thirsty after the meal.
Had an excellent dining experience here.
Highly recommend.

Very good food at a KL Institution. their legendary charsiew must be reserved if you want some at dinner and although we don’t order many dishes as there was only four of us, execution of each dish was on point and it was yet another very enjoyable dinner in Kuala Lumpur. The star of the night was of course the freshwater Black Emperor, steamed and in a light soy sauce.. Hong Kong style.:

This is my regular restaurant whenever I come to KL. I loved the char siu and roast pork. But this recent visit is disappointing as the char siu taste is different now and the roast pork skin is soft instead of crispy. Yes, the whole restaurant was renovated but the quality of the food is not as good as what it used to be which is a shame.

Came for the char siew for dinner 830pm on a Saturday however was told char siew + roasted items were sold out today 6pm. And was advised to make a table reservation together with food reservation for the char siew as well as the roasted items next time.

Nevertheless, though missing the char siew, the other dishes were good too! The overseas signature fried rice was packed with wok hei and different textures (chopped yam cubes, long bean segments and ?cubes of the stem of kailan vegetable). The individual rice grains were slightly chewy which gives every mouthful a good texture.

The braised homemade beancurd with river prawns packed unami and easy with rice.

The Buddha jump over the wall was packed with all the delicacies such as fresh fish maw, shark’s fins, dried abalone and scallops, cordyceps flowers, dry cured ham.

If all the best chefs came together to make char siew and roast pork, this place would be it. I couldn't get enough of them. I wish my whole meal was only them but sadly they came in limited supply

So I ordered the other dishes...they were fantastic too! My prawn came with a head full of dreams. Cutting it up and slurping up all that jus sent me to prawn heaven.

Excellent and really Top 3 Char siew in Malaysia. Great service in our 6 pax private room on the 3rd floor too.

All the dishes were so well prepared with that homely touch.

Newly renovated, comfortable to dine in. Somehow difficult to get parking. But theyve valet parking.

Perhaps it might be helpful for you to know, normally they have 2 sessions time slot for lunch/dinner. Dinner starts 5pm or 8pm. If you intent to walk in without booking. You roughly know when is the best timing on logistic transition and get a table.

We ordered food as in the pictures shared with you here. Soya Sauce White Prawn is the one i recommend. They are using inhouse dark source. Juicy, fragrance and delicious.

Somehow suitable to bring friends from oversea as this place is located at KL city.

The waiters and waitresses are friendly, polite and attentive. Thank you for given us your 5 stars service. 🤩👍
